@CyberBeep_kenshi In the North we' re seeing F-16's below 1500ft. again, after years of absence where we only saw f-35's and the occasional Chinook. Make of that what You want. Afa I am concerned: "MH17.." Orcs shouldn't think we forgot about that. "Payback is a bitch!"
2
Those weapons were already bought and paid for, and were actually about to be decommissioned. And the fact that you are poor, is the result of greedy corporations that refuse to pay fair wages. Corporations owned usually by GOP voters. Mull on that for a bit before pointing fingers.
2
You mean Chancellor Schröder, I hope? Though, Scholtz being on the (black budget) payroll of some russian oligarchs, wouldn't surprise me one bit.
2
You'd be surprised HOW thoroughly Russians are indoctrinated, and have been for centuries.
2
It looks dorky, but does work very well if you're sniping, and your silhouette shouldn't be too easily recognisable when you pop your head up.
2
@urkiddingme6254 Which was.. kind of spot-on, actually.. :P
2
Poland and other former USSR-occupied countries like Latvia, KNOW how utterly vile, nasty, lying and treacherous Russians are. It's about time "The West' started to listen to them properly, instead of trying to out-Chamberlain Chamberlain with their idiotic attempts to placate Putin and his cronies...
2
Nâh.. Russians have proven through the centuries, that they are suckers for "Strong Men" and punishment. Gorbatchev tried to pull Russia out of its' Serf-Mentality.. and was replaced by a drunk lout for his trouble. Russia will be removed from the map even befóre Russians realise there are other ways to get 'things' than rob them from other countries.. They're locusts. They can only destroy and strip countries.
2
@larkhill2119 Yeah.. Their TV channels are a bit like that dog sitting in a fire, sipping tea. But with more war-mongering loons.
2
@leonieromanes7265 Heh, indeed.. and they then wait for the tow trucks…or tractors .. On a more serious note, witnesses have reported they actually saw orcs leave their tanks and apc’s, switch to civvies, and run for it. You’d almost think that not every Russian soldier is a big fan of this war, unlike the crazies on Russian TV.
2
@Cato G That would work, indeed. There’s a lot in the support-packages from the US, and NATO in general, that isn’t mentioned. Millions of dollars and euro’s that are spent on weapons not actually mentioned. Jake has made that small calculation a couple of times. The things explicitly mentioned in the aid-packages, do not cover the actual amount of money spent. Sooo… there’s a significant bit of ‘black budget’ so to speak. Anti-radar missiles could be a big part of it, given the success of Ukraine in blowing-up ammo- and fuel storages relatively unhindered by Anti Air defences.
2
As with all great package holidays to vacation destinations, there ought to be fireworks for extra entertainment. Ukraine delivers!
2
@martinscheffler3866 More like "So deep up Gazprom's ass" etc. etc. All waiting for a nice, cushy warm chair at Gazprom's board of Directors after their stint in the Bundestag.

Sullivan eating humble-pie. Delicious. Afa EU elections go: Orcistan has its tentacles deep, DEEP in ultra right-wing parties. They're like 'La Piovra' , the Italian Mafia, that had its tentacles allover Italy, and some large corporations abroad. It's better now, but the effects are still lingering. After the war in Ukraine, we'll still have those closet-nazi's ff-ing up the EU. You can bet yer furry behind that the influence of orcistan will stay, lingering, like a nasty bit of indigestion.
2
@katiehettinger7857 Hahaha.. You beat me to it.. :P

The irony is thick as frozen borscht.. Russia willy-nilly bombs civilian targets, gets all cheery and festive, but gets nothing useful out of it. Ukraine just grits its teeth, silently sits-out the new-years barrage from the Kaspian Sea.. and then suddenly answers rather effective with a few well-aimed HIMARS missiles, killing orcs in the hundreds in one go (plùs oodles of ammo).. and all of Russia in a tizzy. Interesting enough nòt with the usual "How dáre the Ukes shooting back, the ingrates" but with a full-on uproar towards the high-ups in their ówn military. Yet.. no-one is pointing their fingers at Putin, who took over 'tactics' and has made a good old mess of it, but still blames his commanders and advisors and gets them "disappeared" or defenestrated when they dare stating the slightest critique... I wonder how long he'll last now. Consistenly blaming the military top, when you're the one that actually messed-up big time, nèver ended well for dictators and their wars....

That was the deepest, and most interesting analysis I have heard, since I did my Pre-Phd in political science/ political philosophy. It's always enlightening, and engaging to listen to an àctual intellectual. The bit about Putin's 'mystical' thinking, reminds me also of the weird stuff the Nazi's were engaged in. Bizarre bits of nordic folklore that entered serious discussions in Nazi-Germany. Hitler's adoration of legends, and his attempts to make those 'real' for Germany.. That mysticism became more and more open the crazier Hitler got. I wonder.. Is it something that happens to àll elderly autocrats? They lose their marbles and start to live in some shadow-world of their own making?

*reads comments.. Woohoo.. Trolls and closet-vatniks be lìvid. Lots of minty-fresh accounts too. Have to read fast, because the trolls get moderated away pretty quickly. Every refresh I see accounts disappear... Nice.😁

🤣

Interesting ànd enlightening. I was already reasonably well versed in the way US politics works -coming from a family where many studied in The States, however, the nitty-gritty and smaller details always eluded me. Things are much clearer now. Many Thanks for that!

Nonsense. ‘Restraint’ ??? The Russian airforce already tried.. to be shot out of the air by - in our western eyes - rather antiquated Anti Air systems and bloody shoulder fired missile systems that were already in use in the Afghan war. And the ‘Republican Guard? Really? Their elite ‘Spetsnatz’ paratroopers got wiped-out in the first days of the siege of Kyiv. Still the inane idea that Russia ‘holds back’ their best troops and material… they didn’t. They’re now deploying tanks from the sixties and trying to get men above 45 in the military, even going as far as attempting to lure 50-year olds into service.. They’re going for old-fashioned WW2 tactics : Throw cannon fodder at the enemy untill they give-up, or run out of ammo.. However, enthousiasm to rnter the fray isn’t exactly high in Russia itself, and without actually declaring it ‘A War’ Putin can’t force a mobilization.. oosie..

Prices in Russia’s supermarkets have, basically, doubled, If I see the reports from Russians themselves, at the same time their wages/income hasn’t. An average salary is about 500 to 700 dollar at best in the current exchange values. And the cost of foodstuffs is -by now - the same as in the West.. where salaries áre double that of the average Russian. Bad combo. Even lentls ( favorite base food stuff of Russians, it seems) have almost doubled in price. Let alone ‘luxuries’ like coffee, bread and whatnot. Only sugar has remained largely even. Subsidized to the brim, it seems. Maybe Putain REALLY fears a populus that can’t afford the sugar in their tea? 🤣
2
@PNH-sf4jz Truth will out soon enough when sons do not come home. Even leaving the bodies to rot in Ukrainian ditches won’t help there. The utterly cynical thing behind that isn’t even that Putin and his cronies are afraid that the numbers of men Killed will reach the populus, but that the families will claim the full payment for a soldier KIA. A soldier MIA, or killed due to an accident, doesn’t need a full pay-out to the relatives…. Mull about that for a moment.
2
@jaybelle1909 aaand… there’s the other troll.
2
@Stefan Yup. And they have done this for quite a long time. And if a teacher/lecturer uses sources that are.. ehm.. ‘not approved’ he/she’ll end-up without a job pretty quickly. Russian schoolbooks on history are quite.. ehrm.. ‘interesting’ especially when WW2 is involved.. hardly anywhere is the LandLease meantioned, or the other foreign help. Then again, some states in the US are also rewriting history by leaving certain things out.
2
@ivangohome It’s about 3 to 5 kopeck a post on top of a rather meagre base-wage, meagre even by Russian standards. Hence the endless bullshit-posts and copy-paste comments. But it’s a job with a certain security, even if the pay is crap.
2
And yet, some people do it willingly, freed from the burden of ‘having to think for themselves’ Weird, isn’t it?
2
I dunno. Maybe they dó know, but are also in nó hurry to be sent to a harsh Siberian Spa.. ‘Speaking truth’ has become really, réally dangerous, as that presenter showed so brilliantly.
2
It seems that they don’t take losing very well… :p
2
1420’s interviews makes all remaining Russians soundlike the inmates of a closed ward, or the members of a violent cult in dire need of déprogramming. Stockholm syndrome at full display.
2
That sounds like Ukraine's strategy, indeed. They've proven to be quite systematic in their approach.
2
@robertshiell887 ahhh… but the upper echelons of colonized countries nèver minded being subjugated, permitted they could fill their pockets to the brim unhindered. Colonials have always used that. India’s elite, with very few exceptions, actually nèver had a problem with the Brits.

Learn to spell.

@terjeoseberg990 ' If it works, it works" even old hardware can be pretty deadly and effective.
1
@jubeaumont6305 Yeah, well.. they first had to remove Schröder's head from his Arschloch before something happened..
1
' little guy' turned-out to be a bloody Wolverine.. A critter that even Grizzly bears know to stay away from..
1
'Disastrous' is now exactly how to describe this bloody invasion.

Russia is doing its ùtter best to prove that their nickname 'Orc' is so vèry apt.. they really dó act like the brutish, stupid and cruel man-beasts of fantasy-lore. Though, truth be told, the mass graves are no surprise. Remember the bound civillian men, all shot to death, that Ukrainian soldiers foud just lying on the streets and in cellars in the regions around Kyiv at the very beginning of the war? I can already hear the (paid) trolls' response: LIESLIESLIES ALL LIES!!.. Is it wrong of me to want those (paid) trolls, wherever they reside, rounded-up after the war and slammed behind bars for the rest of their nasty existence?
1
A tracked 'bomb' ALSO straight from the Nazi-playbook when Germany became desperate. Google 'Goliath remote controlled bomb' Orcs repeating that trick.. only bigger.. and just as (in)effective.
1
Even better: They did it in summer.. Now the breeding is absolutely guaranteed in and near those stagnant pools.
1
Yup.. Ukes know trólling like no others...
1
" Internet cut off" ehh.. asif Wagnerites are unaware of sattelite links- and phones.
1
"The voice of desperation" SO strange that Poot always comes with those proposals when they're getting their behinds kicked. /s
1
At least sòmething they're good at, then..
1
Nope. As I understand it, it's KIA ànd MIA that are counted. Wounded and/or POW's are not counted. I could be wrong though.
1
Who knows? "Predictions are hard, especially about the future" as Yogi Berra so aptly observed..
1
.. Sunflowers dìd however, left-out a sigh of relief..
1
..And what was left, was pilfered by Putin's cronies, the oligarchs..
