  11. The membership pays for itself. I recently purchased items from the pharmacy area of Costco and spent $145. I compared the exact same items at a drugstore and the amount was $300. Not only that, their return policy is second to none. They also compensate and treat their employees well. And the hotdog and soda are still $1.50.
