Wrong country. Tell your bot friends.

The flaw in your plan is that you first have to get COVID-19 and survive the infection.
4
@amandaanguish6797 How do you know that there were no deaths at home? At the beginning of the pandemic, it is likely that some people died at home.
4
@justincase4892 That is exactly what we voted for.

Grow up. President Donald Trump acknowledged the dangers of the coronavirus pandemic in a February interview with journalist Bob Woodward and acknowledged downplaying the threat in an interview a month later, according to an account of Woodward's new book. “I wanted to always play it down. I still like playing it down because I don't want to create a panic," Trump said in a March 19 call with Woodward, according to an audio clip posted Wednesday on The Washington Post's website. The newspaper obtained a copy of the book, "Rage," which is scheduled to be released next week.

The doctors wrote the prescription. It's too bad that so many people didn't fill it. The advice from the doctors: "Don't have a big gathering at Christmas." The response from the anti-maskers: "You can't tell me what to do!" The RSVP from the COVID-19 virus: "Thanks for the invitation to the party!"

We all pay for everyone else's health choices, poor or otherwise. The natural consequences of a COVID-19 infection will take care of some of the problem. Unfortunately, the hospitals will be struggling to care for those who have other issues, which doesn't seem fair.

We elected a minority government. Proponents of minority governments look fondly at the 1960s when Lester B. Pearson won back-to-back minorities that forced deal-brokering with the New Democratic Party. That era was the bedrock of the Canadian social safety net, with the Pearson Liberals advancing national medicare, Canada student loans and the Canada Pension Program.

You would be the subject expert on that topic...

We are not governed by temper tantrum.

The British debate concluded with the following advice: "vaccines are the best way to protect people from COVID-19 and have already saved tens of thousands of lives”.
4
That is Conservative propaganda. "The commitment needs to be a commitment to grow the economy and the budget will balance itself." So just in case it is not painfully obvious, what Trudeau was saying was that when the economy grows, balanced budgets are more likely. Growth means more jobs. More jobs means more tax revenues to governments, which helps offset government expenditures, and should mean less government spending on the social safety net. Taken in context it seems entirely reasonable.
4
That is funny because it describes everyone who does not take the pandemic seriously. Anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers are definitely moronic.

@sharondiaz137 If you don't like liberal or NDP governments, you should pay for your own healthcare and not cash your Canada pension checks. Edmonton is going back to a mask mandate as of Friday. We are the Florida of the North.
3
That's not quite accurate. "An Alberta judge has ruled that some public health orders implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic were improperly made by politicians, not public health leaders as required by the province's Public Health Act, including then-chief medical officer of health (CMOH) Dr. Deena Hinshaw."

@billclay9511 The Edmonton Sun is a right leaning paper, so in this case, definitely yes. Either way, it's funny. According to yesterday's news, Danielle is now busy editing her poorly written Sovereignty Act. Apparently, she realized that giving herself unlimited powers to rewrite laws without seeking approval from the legislature was a bad look. If you are keeping score, this is u-turn #2 for Smith as she changed her mind about adding the unvaccinated to the Human Rights Act.

@1989gibbi I would bet that hospitals don't admit patients for fun.

Seriously that is not the issue.

Shame on the unvaccinated nurses who, despite being well educated, are following the misinformation and disinformation regarding the COVID-19 vaccines. They should find another profession. Shame on you for defending their position and even worse, for your claim that they are being discriminated against. Those unvaccinated nurses should have been assigned to work with COVID-19 patients.
3
The majority of Canadians spoke by getting vaccinated and following health measures. Section 2(c) guarantees the right to peaceful assembly; it does not protect riots and gatherings that seriously disturb the peace: R. v. Lecompte, [2000] J.Q. No. 2452 (Que. C.A.). It has been stated that the right to freedom of assembly, along with freedom of expression, does not include the right to physically impede or blockade.

Keep it up and you will find yourself apologizing like Marjorie Taylor Greene.

@colleenmcintosh6974 You are all wrong. WHAT WAS CLAIMED The Covid-19 virus has not been isolated as per Koch’s postulates, and this means PCR tests do not work. OUR VERDICT "This is untrue. Covid-19 has been isolated many times. It does not need to adhere to Koch’s postulates as it is a virus, and Koch’s rules have been widely disregarded now. Covid-19 PCR tests are generally very accurate."

US deaths from COVID-19: over 900,000. Canadian deaths from COVID-19: 35,000. If deaths from COVID-19 was an Olympic sport, the United States would get the gold medal.

Imagine the uproar if the government made you eat your vegetables and exercise.

@bellaaneke Indeed. You must be waiting for the expert opinion of Kyrie Irving and Aaron Rodgers.

@SinOfYesterd The problem with that attitude is that the virus is contagious. You would be Typhoid Mary in your scenario.
3
Let this sink in: Your math is terrible. Not everyone was exposed to the virus. The only number that matters is 24,000. That is how many people died.
3
@davidhamilton6612 No one believes unverified anecdotes.
3
@jonk5669 Quit pretending that you know what you are talking about.
3
Canada's response to the pandemic (following health measures and getting vaccinated) has been quite successful based on the only measure that counts: deaths. US deaths from COVID-19: 1.1 million. Canadian deaths from COVID-19: over 49,000. To date, 84% of Canadians are fully vaccinated compared to 68% of Americans.
3
wc203 No where. It's a Quanonsense talking point.
3
If COVID-19 deaths was an Olympic sport, with over 600,000 deaths, the United States would win the gold medal.
