In ethnosociological terms, the ethnos and koineme of the idiotes [private citizen], within the unbroken ethnocentrum, would have had a life much more in proximity to nature, and would have lived as such like a rural person, ultimately, far away from the cities of Rome, which developed outside of the ethnocentrum. This sort of thing can be seen even today.
