One can always rely on Styx to calmly explain his opinions clearly, and with the facts delineated. Russian people? They are great. Russian government...meh. But from what I can see, they have seemingly organized a kind of "rube-ish facade", almost in an attempt to modernize, in an attempt to remove some of the cold war stink from past eras...but I can't tell whether that is just bullshit, or not. But now the US is involved (in a manner of speaking, a la Trumpism) with this modernization...yet, the nations which need it the most (Islamic nations) are still not on board. That's what it seems to me.
