I said a long time ago that if Sanders was to be elected [and if he could play ball, hypothetically, and get what he wants achieved] the entire US economy would change [which is why he wouldn't get elected, people don't like change] and it would change from the ground up. Fundamental change in the gear system. It's not possible to get people to up and change so much, so drastically. Even if it was going to be helpful in the long run, the short term consequences would be too much to bear for entire swathes of people, who would suffer.
