  13. Hah, the Bible is one thing, by the by...to nte. I want to SOUND substantive here, so bear with me (but nice post Misra)- The Bible is not necessary to read, not really. But I concede I've only read the Torah and basically one of the Gospels along time ago. The point is: what stems from the book (and the religion itself) (see critique of Islam that's current in the discourse these days) is as important as what is is IN the book; it is, in modern terms, a book of memes- the memes generated from those memes are the lacking and sore part of Christianity- not the actual premise of the Bible itself. The Bible has got just as much information on how to be Good as it does on how to Rebel, (right, david herzing?). Christians (especially) have to start figuring out Memetic Time Advantage. Nothing is real.
