I grew up in Hawaii on Maui. When I was young and hunted, we had wild pigs, most pigs brought with the first Hawaiians, later they bread with domestic. While abundant, they took some skill to get.
Later goats began to go wild and were another hunted animal.
I dont remember ever seeing a deer when I was young, but slowly over time axis deer were brought and now these days, there are hundreds in a herd, wandering and eating the farmers produce and feeding in the golf course grass.
In fact, there are more deer than food to feed them.
Yet hunters are not pushed heavily to harvest them.
They do so much damage that the state will occasionally fly over in helicopters and shoot them, leaving the meat to waste.
My main point is that feral animals abound in a place like Maui, yet they raise local beef, which is good, but they need to really advocate for hunters to reduce the populations and encourage people to eat deer.
My friend's sons hunt and make sausage with it, but laws restrict the resale of wild meat.
Its a crazy world.

5:09 Hawaii was this way when I was growing up.
My friends were Filipino , Portuguese, chinese, Hawaiian, Japanese, Somoan, Tongan and some Caucasians called Ha'ole. Over a few decades and generations, alcohol, drugs, especially meth, caused this family lifestyle to fall apart.
The families had backyard barbeques, people played music, of course these adults were into drinking beer, by about 1975, the younger generations that couldn't drink legally, got into drugs. Because the money from real estate began to bring lots of mainlanders in, it also brought in high end drugs like coke.
The worst drug was meth, besides losing friends to it, it tore the family fabric to pieces.
Eventually the youngest kids grew up, never knowing the way it was. They only knew parents and family members that died, went to jail or were too busy lurking off to find drugs.
I got to watch this fall apart over my years.
I moved away, as many of my family members did too.
Now I would not expect to return to Hawaii and find anything that I could recognize or relate to

I'm 67. I was 50 when I got divorced from my second wife.
Frankly, I know I'm old now, but am in good health, not overweight, retired and while not rich, I have enough. Enough, as long as I don't get involved with a woman.
I really am not interested in having another family, so a single, older, especially if they are financially well off, would be nice, except, they look like my grandmother.
I didn't want to date a woman that looked that old when I was young and I really don't want to now either.
I would rather avoid women all together than date old and overweight women, mostly likely going to have health issues by now or a younger good looking lady that is so entitled and expects to just live off of me.
