  3. These stories are so common. As social media, Tiktok and dating sites become more available to women throughout the world, the more westernized these women become. The province girls might be decent enough, but the more access to the internet they have, the more they are influenced by the influencers. Every year, months and days, more are turned to the dark side. Considering their prospects and access to schools and jobs, scamming guys becomes a job for them and then they are addicted to the easy money that this disception brings. Women love to recruit other women to help validate what they must know deep down inside is immoral and downright criminal. Soon they and their friends are rolling in their ill-gotten gains. The window where you could meet a province type girl is quickly disappearing and like Bo says, you have to live there, be familiar with the people and then, maybe, just maybe, you can meet an honest, good hearted woman. But, and it's a big but, the laws in the country can definitely go against a foreigner. The Philippines says that kids must take care of their parents and family. So if you marry one, you are legally responsible for helping her family. They know that and the family members will crawl out from the forests and under rocks, if they hear someone married a foreigner, just to get a piece of the pie. If you have a strong Filipina, she may hold them back, not really wanting to lose money that belongs to you and her, but they are raised to help the family.
