I have to believe the videos you do like this one where you break down a stop and explain what is going on step by step and what the law is from an officer’s perspective go a long way to educating people in the realties of these situations. There is SO MUCH BS about the law flying around out there that has and will continue to get people hurt or killed. Please do more of these!

If you offer your scratched up car as collateral on a $20 million dollar loan, you won’t get the loan, unless the loan officer is in on it with you, will you? The valuation has to stay within the range of assessed value and best realistic market value. Its purpose is as collateral, ie can be sold to cover the loan if the purpose of the loan goes belly up,

  49. Officer Tatum. Here’s another tidbit about Greenwood. It began with the elevator incident where a young black man was arrested for assaulting a white woman and put in the local jail. That day, members of Greenwood were concerned for the boy’s safety and an armed group went to the jail and offered the sheriff help to guard the jail as there were rumors of a mob forming. The sheriff declined their help and told them to go home, which they did. However, later that day, a group from Greenwood again went to the jail to offer the sheriff help in protecting the jail. Again the sheriff refused and sent them home. However, as the group of Greenwood residents turned to leave, someone bumped into someone and the riot was on. Now for the kicker: Guess why the Greenwood residents were concerned about the boy arrested? Because a few weeks earlier a WHITE young man who had been accused of the same thing had been pulled out of the jail by an angry mob and LYNCHED! Sort of changes the narrative doesn’t it?
