  1. This man hasn't a clue. The Trabant had a bio-degradable body. The full tank was above the engine so it did not need a fuel pump to go wrong. It never needed a radiator to leak. It never needed water pump to go wrong It never had a fanbelt to turn a water pump - and snap. It was very reliable. It was very economical. It was very simple. It could be DIY fixed. It did exactly what it was supposed to do. We are going back to simplicity with electric cars. A battery set and simple electric motors. R&D is under way with bio-degradable bodies. The Trabant was ahead of its time in this respect.

  13. It was based on the FIAT 127, not Strada. The ride and road holding could be greatly improved by fitting high quality gas shock absorbers. But it was built down to a price remember that.

  25. NoahBones 12 Not really. The Land Rover was to get a higher quota of metal when it was rationed just after WW2. Steels mill could nog make enough. Rover made luxury cars so were down the list of allocation. The top guys at Rover were wondering how to keep the company in business. One had an ex army Jeep on his farm. One said make one of these, but better to get the metal. They did and never looked back.

Walmart pay exceptionally low wages to their employees to the point the state have to give welfare to the Walmart employees to take them above the poverty line.   50. Let's see, this guy on other vids say his daily drive is a Land Rover Defender and this one, the Range Rover. Wow two cars in one day. So, he drive a 22 year old Defender, which is no longer made - so safe there, as it is not threatening the US market. He gives the impression he loves Land Rovers. He has a Range Rover saying is it wonderful, in looks, desirability, luxury, etc, to any USA SUV, which it is. This is all gloss to the real motive. So, how can you get at castigating this car making inroads into the US SUV market? A car that created the genre fifty years ago. You can only go on reliability. He is easy to see through, not that clever - most certainly paid to spout this stuff. Then a plethora of Americans cheer him on, with liberal insults. Strange that these cars are only unreliable in the USA. Must be the air of course. I await more of the paid American trolls to descend on this vid, extolling how unreliable Range Rovers are. The US car industry must be desperate to drop to these levels.
