YouTube now has explainer fitted to this video same way it does with flat Earth and other conspiracies, there's usually an antisemitic tirade followed within a minute or two of mentioning Annunaki too. It's in THAT pipeline.

He also wasn't always seen as evil, as Seti and Ramesses dynasty worshiped him as their main deity. It's such a streeeeeetch, almost as if they wanted to claim common dichotomy of light vs dark AND a tie to Egypt as it's popular, and managed to miss that there's Ra defeating Apep the snake (anyone who played Assassin's Creed Origins would know) and raising the sky chariot every dawn that would fit way more, but they went with Horus vs Set because they played Tomb Raider 4 or something... Nah, they wanted to make a Cain/Abel parallel, which also wouldn't work (they aren't even brothers), later. P.S. This is interesting because I had the exact opposite experience: as a kid I've had children's picture books on ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece and I knew that the sun god is Amun-Ra, while Horus and Set are gods of sky and dry desert wind, not light and dark... So when I seen that he knows nothing on BASIC Egyptian mythology, everything else fell apart. I think the final nail in the coffin was comparing the Cain & Abel story, which famously didn't include hacking to pieces and a male organ made of clay, with Osiris. Guys, learn mythology and history. Knowing even base level stuff helps against all these fake history connoisseurs... I highly recommend playing through Discovery Tour in Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey, they're a much better interactive experience than the books I had as a kid without internet. But hey, even I could point out inaccuracies in the Mummy – I have no idea how the producers missed the number of canopic jars and made Evie say they removed heart. Those are first things you learn about mummies!
