Anyway, the damage is irrelevant since Kremlin isn't a useful military target, it was done to embarrass and to humiliate them and maybe force to move some air defenses to moscow... Remember when SBU drone landed on plane and took off in Belarus? Same vibes, but plane IS actually a viable target so it returned for real damage. Notice how in both cases russians try it very hard to hide the damage. If it was a false flag they would be exaggerating it and showing every dent but now you can't film it even.

I mean, if they keep moving the goalposts from Kyiv in 3 days to Avdiivka in 10 years, they can pretend the campaign wasn't a complete disaster, when Ukraine was expected to hold out for 72 hours and instead russians fail to take even a single major city (like, ANY regional capital) after 2014 apart from Kherson. MAYBE russians should look at reality on the ground and admit they wasted half a million troops and will never, ever, have Kherson or Zaporizhzhia cities, and should just capitulate instead. I have never seen something as embarrassing as declaring to annex cities you cannot even besiege. This is like a extra level of cope.

  5.  @nozhki-busha True, for anyone doubting that most russian civilian hits are not misfires, look up "hospital bombing campaign" russia did in Syria. They're priority targets for them. Schools too, because people had a tendency to hide there as a "safe zone", while Ukrainian schools aren't used for refugees, but rather, get evacuated during air raid alarms.

  11.  @dpelpal  I think this is the one think people don't understand: current performance of gains in style of Blackadder (outside of undefended gray zones), and WW1 style casualties, the russia underperforms so much they're actually going much worse than in Afghanistan, which they lost, and they had lower casualties than locals there, which isn't the case in Ukraine if you even take a cursory look at Oryx.

They invaded Ukraine in 2014, Georgia in 1993 and 2008, Chechnya in 1994 and 1999, Moldova in 1991, the only years of "peace" was a break after 2nd Chechen war until Georgia, so... almost 8 years of... not really peace, but frozen conflicts. His math with losses is all wack too, he claims a very low WiA/KiA rate (1 to 1), and then says Ukraine lost X times more and his casualty rate for Ukrainians doesn't correspond to his own figures. The "20k dead russians" is the only thing that's consistent with other reports, but even that can be sus because he claimed half of them were prisoners and half professional, mercs, they should not have 50/50 rate anyway as ones were used as cannon fodder. Basically for him it is profitable to exaggerate losses of both but then again, his verall casualty rate for russians is at 40k (half wounded) which might be close to truth if we ONLY count Wagner and not the rest of the army. Anyway, DO NOT BELIEVE PRIGOZHIN, his main career is running a disinformation network. Like people fell for his markers on the wall where he put one onto some islands near New Zealand, come on!

They negotiated peace with Chechnya and invaded it again in 1999, they had ceasefires with Ukraine in 2014 and 2015, which russians broke within HOURS, not even day. There is no settlement or arrangement that russia didn't break ON THE SAME DAY. There's only two ways for this war to end, and the one we are looking for currently is "to the last russian".

  27. We had two peace treaties with russia in 2014 and 2015, both broken within HOURS of signing them, and russia never actually followed to ceasefire lines (the last one russians signed they won't enter Debaltseve - as they were bombing the green corridor there).

That's why right and left bank are proper terms since they always conform to specific sides of land, while river turns and twists so same side can be sometimes East, other times West, one turn North and the other South... HOWEVER, with Ukraine, it was always divided by left and right bank. Kinda like there's Upper and Lower Egypt, there's Eastern and Western Ukraine, with division on Dnipro banks. So by definition, anything on RIGHT bank will be considered in West of Ukraine and LEFT bank will be East. That's just how things are called here.

I agree completely, but even if they had double the force there, it would be impossible to surround (not even take, just besiege) Kharkiv even in theory... as in, even in best case scenario and super luck, they don't have enough manpower to do it. And the idea that Ukrainian forces are stretched more than russian because of Kharkiv is kind of debunked by basic geometry (inner circle is smaller than the outer).

  50. The war started in 2014. Before that they invaded Georgia in 2008. West really helped with "russian reboots" and buying record amount of oil. We had literal Navalny protesters caught as PoWs, even the few russians who protest their own government still go to war because they're just like that.
