The moscow should look like Mariupol at least... and unless West changes (with russia chairing UN, fat chance, this world isn't worth saving), Paris, Berlin and Rome should look like that as well. As a Ukrainian, I expect Hungary, likely Slovakia AND maybe Poland invading from another side, we are SURROUNDED by enemies. Problem is, ru cannot win. As in, even theoretically. No amount of Western help to putin will save his country. Anyway, leaving Kherson for them politicially is the same as... well... not capturing Zapo city, which they, again, couldn't even approach. For us, however, since Kherson, Zapo, Donetsk, Luhansk and Simferopol have the same status in russian eyes, it eases the arguments to push onwards to Crimea, as some ultra-corrupt western journalists and politicians attempted to frame Crimea as special case for Kremlin's money. It is not. Ukraine reclaiming Sevastopol, Simferopol, Yalta, Mariupol, Donetsk, Melitopol and Luhansk is the same as holding to Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. The ruskies were calling even Odesa a "russian city", the only russians almost reaching it are now at the bottom of the sea, so? They will never take it. And their escape from Ukrainian Crimean AR should be as rapid as from Kherson, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy and Mykolaiv.

Tactical simply means launched at smaller range, often from conventional weapon launchers, i.e. Iskander missile launchers or Pion barrelled artillery (yes, it has a nuclear shell variant). The myth about moscow having air defense is debunked over and over I don't think anyone still believes in it. In fact since all russian army is in Ukraine their capital is protected by one out of shape traffic cop with a regulation stick who terrifies every russian protester that existed... Yeah both of them. Also the two guys were told to put out the fire with blankets or something. The russia is too primitive for firefighters so they usually let things burn or throw russians into fire hoping they will put it out, as happened now. After first impact they were forced to put out the fire with their bodies without any safety, then second drone almost turned them into good russians... 16 minutes between launches was enough for them to draw the short stick and start climbing.

We Ukrainians had 1500 nukes, 1000s of SCUDs and dozens of strategic aircraft taken from us by coalition of USA, UK and russia on GUARANTEES they will protect our territorial integrity. All three countries broke the Budapest deal and now owe Ukraine an arsenal bigger than they have combined.

  48. Ukrainian here. Read a lot of info, can try to answer you. 1. US support was effectively over by August 2023. It might resume but they already blocked it without Trump, you have Sullivan and other "escalation managers" leading to a lot of needless deaths already. 2. They ALWAYS kept hidden mobilization, true. It never stopped and is mostly targeting poor regions. 3. This is harder, but I remember Wagner structure having a core of elite mercs with good gear and training and convicts used for fodder. We can assume some form of that exists in main russian army with some units more equal than others.
