@boy_ngiwi , we will need more Filipinos soon when the Europeans and North Americans will be in the Philippines soliciting for workers, promising big pay, rolling out their red carpets followed by their families and free 1 year rent on apts. They take care of all the paper works, passports, plane tickets ., just sign at the bottom of the page. The Philippines might even have to compete for their own workers. Let’s not be stupid and be like China who put in a One Child Policy only to find decades later they’re missing workers while retirement pay for seniors are getting smaller.

This military base is not complete without berthing for navy or coast guard gun boats or patrol ship posted permanently. There's still nothing a garrison can do against poachers unless they can launch a sea assault. I hope this stage of the job continues.

Those In the Duterte administration and his followers/fans think Duterte can do no wrong. Wrong! These type of people would have joined the Huk movement in the 1950’s or the contemporary NPA but, nowadays they know enough not to join those kind of organizations when we all know they offer no real solutions. So these people are in limbo where they’re disliking communist organizations but still disliking the West as they hold their false belief about them and their past colonizations. They have become indecisive, impractical and clueless in geopolitics. This indecisiveness have made this presidential administration in flux, in a total misdirection and, they have consciously or unconsciously led the rest of its citizenships to forget the Chinese conquest of their western EEZ. The issue had been taken off the table, out of mind and out of sight and have become a non-issue (exactly how the Chinese want it to be). These Chinese are masters of deception just like tricky magicians who can make coins “disappear” before your eyes. And so they do this while Duterte and his administration and their followers are hypnotized to not see the demise of their Spratley and Scarborough water territories. They’re so hypnotized that buying military assets for external defense have become not only less of a priority but, is seen as a burden. So goes another day, another week, another month and another year of the Duterte administration as people follow the dude like a pied piper while the Chinese communist watch in extreme delight.

More and younger population invites more investors to expand old businesses or open new ones. It also increases consumerism which cycles back to newer bipusiness investments.
