@thefutureisnowoldman7653 Lol, you're blaming the democrats as if people here care about that. Fun fact, it's both parties that are adding to our massive prison population. Toure the only one here that doesnt know that. By the way, in Texas there are women in prison because they had miscarriages, which is caused by laws made by republicans...

@glidercoach Social democracy = capitalism with social saftey nets
2
@mikhael636 People being from a place doesnt mean they understand how it works. Do you know how many Americans believe USA isnt an oligarchy, but according to you because they live in USA that must mean they know the system of USA better than anyone else.
2
@Gigachad-mc5qz What's ironic is that capitalist enterprises such as Wal Mart uses similar models of central planning that was used in the USSR.
2
@anderhagea553 You never seem to account for compassion and empathy. Greed is one peice of human nature. Its existence isnt justification for building an economic system around it.
2
@brian8507 You really are unintelligent.
1
@brian8507 Thank you for confirming that you are an extremely unintelligent person.

I have had the same cell phone for about 5 years now. It is a giant slow piece of crap but I refuse to replace it until the day it dies, which I hope is another 5 years
1
@thegloryboy3867 Imagine believing GDP was a meaningful statistic. Imagine believing third world countries aren't a part of global capitalism
1
What's amazing how a lot of pro-capitalist people believe ina utopian capitalism that ignores how capitalism works
1
TrickZzZ Have you ever lived in capitalist Venezuela, a place with more privatization than the nordic countries? Have you ever lived in Societ Russia or China. The obvious answer is no, so why are you asking if others have.
1
@thefatbob3710 I'm sorry to break it to you, but corporatism is capitalism. You can try and say it isn't capitalism all you like, but that ignores how capitalism has functioned throughout it's short 400 year history. Competition isnt necessary for capitalism to exist. Just because the people who win the most at capitalism are doing everything to keep competition from happening because competition could take some if their marketshare, doesnt mean its not capitalism. Free markets arent a requirement of capitalism, especially since they have never existed. And its BORROW, not Barrow. Probably shouldn't bring up my grammar when yours is piss poor.

@TheHonestPeanut Anyone who claims the majority of Americans don't need a car to survive are people who are completely out of touch with reality. How do people not need a car when there are no other safe alternatives? How do people not need a car when many cities have huge amounts of parking lots and highways? How do people not need a car when all we seemingly build is more and more suburban sprawl that doesn't allow any mixed use zoning? Yeah, you clearly don't know what your talking about. And its not consiracy, but well established history that oil, car, and tire manufacturers bought up street car lines and purposefully destroyed them to force people into their products. They then spent an insane amount of money lobbying our governments to get their products to be the largest receivers of subsidies in the world. None of these manufacturers build any of the infrastructure necessary for their products to work.
1
@TheHonestPeanut The majority of US cities are nothing like Boston. Maybe try living in other cities, or visiting them, or listening to people who live in them. The video does not answer a single one of my questions, and I'm quite positive Hakim, someone who doesnt even live in USA, has a deeper understanding of how car centric USA is and how many Americans need a car just to get around. Weird that your calling me snowflake when the only person who has gotten upset is you. This seems to be pure projection from you. So how about you answer my questions.

@agridley1116 There is no liberal version of leftism and there more than just government interference. Like anarchism
1
@Eletruun Imagine coming to a thread half a year later and making a comment that makes no sense at all. Would you like to quote what your referencing, or explain what the skill issue is?
1
@heartsofiron4ever Again, I'm not asking how many years. I'm asking you what years you lived there. And killing of protestors happens in capitalist countries all the time.
1
@heartsofiron4ever Sorry, you seem to have your information mixed up. The aggressors in this situation are the Israelis and have been since white europeans decided to put them all in Palestine to help destabilize the region. It started when the Israelis did a mass killing in 1948 just after they declared the land theirs. How is that peaceful? That is why other places declared war on them, not the other way around. How is forcing millions of Palestinians out of their homes and turning them into refugees peaceful? I dont think you understand what peaceful means, because the moment the israelis "declared independence" they started doing genocide. Sorry, but Jewish (and really everyone) people have no right to land that isnt theirs, and doing genocide to get it isnt peaceful. Thankfully the majority of jews around the world DO NOT supports Israel and the genocide they are doing. The Israelis are nothing but nazis in this day of age and you supporting these modern day nazis just makes you a nazi sympathizer. Also, gonna tell us what years you lived in east germany?
1
@triplea7536 noiphone100gajilliondead vuvuzela What about the constant bust cycles in capitalism? Those are clearly failures of capitalism. What about the fact that the majority of states that used to be a part of the USSR have never fully economically recovered? That's clearly a failing of capitalism. What about the dozens of poor capitalist nations that have people starving? That clearly a failure of capitalism. Funnily enough, using data from the capitalist world bank, when comparing the PQL (physical quality of life) of socialist and capitalist nationa at the same stage of development, the socialist nations give an equal or better quality of life than the capitalist nations. Seems like reality isnt on your side.
1
@Jhqwulw What's it like having literally nothing of value to say?
1
It amazes me how here in USA we saw homelessness skyrocket during the pandemic/recession, yet so many people blame the homelessness on drugs. Its like how are they not correlating this economic downturn with massive inflation with increased poverty?
1
We can and should do both
1
@monstera.i7008 Someone doesn't need to live in a country to know about its political and economic systems. Just as living in a country doesn't mean you understand that countries political or economic system. Saying someone doesnt live in a place and therefor cant understand its system is an absolute garbage saying mean to derail the conversation. Why would anyone want to derail a conversation?
1
@drybonfa "Go touch some grass" You spend your time insulting people on the internet. Its always projection with people like you.
1
@tomblaise Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan are all vassal states of USA. So yeah, neocolonialism
1
@neonlight1214 You mean when there was 2 world wars going on? And no, we didnt support Stalins regime. Why would I question why USA supports genocidal tyrannical regimes? That would be weird to question since USA genocided an entire continent's worth of people. The country was literally built off slavery. We support Israel in their genocide of Palestine. USA is genocidal and tyrannical, so no theres nothing for me to question. Only reason to question is if you dont actually know that USA is the most evil country to ever exist
1
@@apsoypike1956 Many actual economists are idiots and shouldn't be trusted because they love to deny the reality of how capitalism works. How is free labor and access to lands that have barley been exploited not a net profitable endeavor for a brand new nation? And yes, the Russia empire before the USSR changed everything did a hell of a lot of conquering. The USSR is NOT the Russian empire though. The USSR was a response to the Russian Empire and its immense power over the proletarians. So I'm not sure why your mentioning everything the Russian Empire conquered long before any soviets existed. How is it relevant?
1
@ZverseZ What have "communist dictators" done that's worse than what capitalists do?
1
@glidercoach You can claim.socialized healthcare iant better, but health outcomes around the world proves it is. Your anecdotal evidence is meaningless when we have a plethora of data to look at. The data proves socialized healthcare is better. Cry more
1
Did they like just grab 6 random people off the streets for this? Like what's the point of them doing this?
1
@SlutForCynthia They dont. They hate leftists
1
@ramenbomberdeluxe4958 Liberals are center right
1
@Frostchris4121 There are workers in China who jump out factory windows to kill themselves. Giving them the benefit of the doubt when they allow such massive exploitation to enrich the imperial core is truly fucking moronic. They can give more power to the workers while also combatting the American dollar.
1
@michealjackson3520 Yeah, this doesn't really explain why China couldn't have given more power to the workers, or justifies China's poor treatment of workers. reaching communism shouldn't require those working towards it to allow massive exploitation of those they claim to be wanting to empower.
1
@GhostieTheML And that's the problem with you tankies. That and the forced labor of literally everyone towards the statetalkies. And the Zapatistas are still around, so no, you don't have to keep reducing everyone's freedoms
1
@andrewrogers3067 How can they invade their own country? And why was the US military there long before? Why was South Korea a dictatorship at the time? Yet you say nothing about it? Or the part that South Korea was a dictatorship until like 1989, with US backed dictators. The US invades Korea before the Korean war started. USA were the invaders they were trying to expel from their country.
1
@andrewrogers3067 "Don’t care. Geopolitics is not decided by morals, equality or any of that. They are decided by strength and power." Wow, you're an incredibly stupid person. You make a incorrect statement, get proven wrong, and then say some massive bullshit,
1
@libertyprime4535 Socialism is when the workers control the means of production. That's freedom
1
@anderhagea553 Tell that to the natives of North America, who were almost completely wiped out due to capitalist expansion. Tell that to the people murdered during the holocaust, a capitalist genocide. We can easily attribute 1 billion deaths to capitalism in the past century alone
1
@TheSlicktyler I think it's important that capitalism kills billions of people
1
@Natadangsa China has Marxist leadership.
1
@Natadangsa Love that for you!!
1
@anderhagea553 You're the one that tried to make it out as if human greed is the only thing. You're the one that made it out to be black and white, not me. I was letting you know that the world isnt black and white so dont try and turn it around. There are more acts of compassion in the world than there are acts of greed.
