  11. i find people misinterpreting what retirement is. it means you no longer have to work your primary job that was your livelihood anymore to sustain you. now you can do what you want to do like go travel to places you didn't get a chance to before or do that hobby you didn't have time to before or just help your family or settle accounts or whatever. also i have also heard from elderly people that have made it to her age that living to that age is also overrated. there's quality of life and quantity now we're just obsessed with quantity without factoring in quality of life. like would i rather live to be 95 as a regular person or pass at 32 like bruce lee.... i'll take bruce lee.

  40. no making 6 figures especially in the 100,000 - 150,000 range is not what it used to be. it can get you what $60-70,000 will get you 20 years ago in terms of purchasing power. so a tolerable mid end middle class existence but... did you really work yoru a** off just for a tolerable mid end middle class existence? i doubt it. folks africa, SE asia, even mexico are booming they're where the growth is at. the west has hit the ceiling and there's no where to go but down.

  44. phillipines import tariffs aren't too ridiculous The Philippines' simple average MFN applied tariff rate was 9.8% for agricultural products and 5.5% for non-agricultural products compared ot the us where we have 15% to 25% plus existing tariffs when you import goods into the us now? come on.
