  2. manual labor never paid good. construction trade jobs do but you need to get past your apprenticeship and probatiion to really start seeing the money roll in. and to get into the trades... you need to have a job first.

  5. europe is similar to the US but like you said instead of being at level10 it's like level 7-8. i would say any country that is highly economically developed will resemble the US but of course with ccertain nuances may or may not be as extreme. the US really is the home of go big or go home.

  16. the trick in america is to live as minimal as possible. the problem with americans is that the money burn rate is pretty high meaning you make $1 you're spending close to that $1 if not over hence why our consumer debts are so high. like if you forgo a lot of the "Toys" you'd be surprised how much more you can shave off.

  24. its also a higher ROI too because it takes what like 30 minutes to mow a standard size yard with a lawn mower. longer if you have to trim the edges but the faster you can mow you have a higher ROI

  31. well actually the reason why teh boomer generation was so big was because the ww2 generation on average had like 4 kids per couple. and the older silent gen as well. avg 3 kids per couple. when you get to the (younger silent gen) baby boomer generation they were the first to use contraceptives, focus more on career delaying the adult milestones etc. and then you see gen x the smallest generation in american history (by proportion) the only reason the millennials are so big as a cohort is because with teh boomers if you just average 1-2 kids per couple that is still enough to create 70+ million people for that cohort. gen z is a byproduct of gen x and with a small generation you will have a small generation as gen x took contraceptives and family planning with more delays. so if our society is based on cosntant growth than it will collapse.

  41. technically the uS will never experience any major demographics declien as we have new replacements coming in all the time they may or may not have money but they need a place to stay which will keep the housing market relatively stable. the moment we have few people coming and more people going or moving on from this universe then the powers to be will be scared or more scared.

  49. at the end of the day it's every person for themselves. no one is going to help you or save you. if they wanted to prevent passport bros from ever becoming a reality they shouldn't have opened the pandoras box for it to happen in teh first place. action reaction action reaction. nothing happens out of nowhere and for no reason. it takes 2 sides to make things work and if one side devaites well the whole thing falls apart. period. they can talk trash smack all they want but at hte ned of the day you do what you gotta do to just make it. whether looking for relations or finances or whatever. they talk all this smack but at the end of the day they're not going to do anything to help you or make your situation better.
