This would not have happened if he had not sent in his State Police to protect previously small armed Klan Rallies with State Police dressed as soldiers carrying with M-16 Rifles and armored personal carriers against unarmed demonstrators. You remember 2001 Bush launching the coalition of the willing into Afghanistan. Then 2008 economic crash. Trump's election despite major ruling class opposition. A corona virus pandemic. After 20 years of war a defeat was inflicted on US Imperialism after spending 2.3 trillion dollars. Now we are told how we need to spend even more for the sake of threats by enemies who are both magnitudes militarily and economically weaker. What we need is a militia to defend the constitution and our homes. Put all the Generals and CEO's on the aircraft carriers and leave them in the middle of the pacific ocean with some oars so they can fight their own wars for bigger profits.
