This is why the left opposition demanded a return to Lenin and not handing back power to the Cadet Paty, NEPman and the Kulaks.   13.  @georgegeorge6887  You can't easily import power to ERCOT because it is not synced to either the Western or Eastern Interconnect. If the whole national grid were synced then power like wind could always be available because massive low and high pressure areas across the continent would mean the wind always blows somewhere. Overall transporting power is cheaper than mass generation. This is basically a failure of the private profit system where individual power generators control production and reliability.

It's these entitled middle class social justice warriors with to much time on their hands creating problems where there aren't any. As an example Oberlin college decided it needed to get some privilege for its entitled student shoplifters. A campaign started by social Justice warriors over three Black students involved in a combination of using fake ID, shoplifting wine and assault on a clerk at a local bakery got the backing of the administration in calling and picketing the Gibsons bakery as a racist business. The administration demanded the police not be called for first time student shoplifters. I wonder if i did the same thing at the Oberlin Book store if I would also get a free get out of jail card. Going so far as having protests calling the bakery racist without any Black students involved. The Gibsons fought back and won a jury judgement for libel. The McDonald's hot coffee case is the one people like yourself argue as excessive. McDonalds could have settled for a cheap 'Happy Meal" price but instead wanted to pay its low wages price. After all McDonalds is run by poor lemonade stand capitalists. Large corporations self insure if your to stupid to buy insurance or accept that your self insured what can I say? Happy meal taste bad?

My guess is the local corner boy knows more about business than someone who wishes he could be his own employee. If you really want no work no brain capitalism you buy government guaranteed bonds. Everyone who knows anything keep some of their capital portfolio in the safety of government bonds. Even the Chinese buy US Treasury bills. Hedge funds are also good since they promise to make you money no matter which way the market goes. Otherwise you could be wiped out in the next recessions. Or you make money giving advice on investment. You don't fool around with something like a Pizza parlor or an auto repair shop. Real capitalists never look back. They don't go around crying about how they wish they were a worker and how no one understands them.
