In Cuba they are building a society based on human solidarity not like India where the New Viceroys are all Indian. The reason that Cuba out does India in all most all stats is because they had a socialist revolution unlike India where the British left after the end of WW2 because of colonial nationalism. After all the British had just finished starving about a million or so people in the needless 1943 Bengal Famine.

India is more like North Korea in many ways. The US blockades them also. What's India's excuse? India is still behind China. Caloric intake is going down in India and people don't have access to electricity. You don't see children begging people dressed in western clothing for food in Cuba like India.

Women create the next generation of young workers. Why not control the cost of reproduction of new workers with welfare and the ban on abortion for poor women to get a better cost benefit ratio? The capitalist look at the cost of replacing us like building roads. They all need roads so they have the government build them with tax money. They all need a source of new workers so they look towards immigration and welfare as the cheapest way to do that.

The workers create the social wealth a portion which they receive in wages based upon what is needed to come back and return the next day or week. The rest goes to the capitalist in terms of a profit. The capitalist judges his sucess based upon his profits as a return on investment. This is what drives the capitalist competition to drive down wages and replace labor with machines. However continued increases in investment with less labor to exploit drives down the rate of return on investment. The capitalist then begin looking for sure things to invest their profits. This is where they drive up paper values like mortgages, stock, bonds, futures contracts and derivatives. Once it is realized these investments are way overvalued they come crashing down and provoke a recession or depression where business activity comes almost to a complete halt.
