  2. It's actually worse than many Australians even realise, our last census shows that if you have a grandparent born in the country even one, you are a minority. And this was before albos record numbers. And ofcourse LNP politicians like this are not much better.

  4. I moved from the Australian regional city I'd lived in my adult life when it became too dangerous for women to buy groceries unless the supermarket had armed police present. A grandmother died going to the supermarket there recently I'm so glad I moved but I shouldn't have had to. My government invited these people here.

I had to leave the small regional city I'd lived in most of my adult life when it became unsafe even for grandmothers to buy groceries.

  15. Sadly my local Australian Anglican church has fallen. I stopped going when they told me not to read the King James Bible, even in private, as it's not inclusive of the LGBT community.

  18.  @dpstrial  I'm Australian and we have preferential voting like some continental countries. So it's much more complicated. We have a Labor government currently, but it was a bit like your last election. The conservatives didn't conserve anything but bad Labor policies and they'd been in charge during covid, and were on the nose, especially when the PM was personally praised by Schwab. I personally give my first preference to far right parties. I don't know about sex, the breakdowns I've seen are more by age and suburb. Young people vote left, and so do the rich champagne socialists who can afford to care about climate change. Where as truck drivers, tradesmen, farmers etc vote for the coalition which used to be conservative but can't define a woman.

  22. I'm Australian and I've been saying this for years. Feminism tripled the tax payers, mum, dad and the babysitter. Doubled the cost of housing. And reduced wages without decreasing consumerism. The upper echelon loved it. By the 1990s they'd got as many women out to work that they ever would. But they discovered that mass immigration had the same effect.

  32. The last census revealed that half the people in Australia are recent immigrants. Our current Labor government is bringing in a million over three years. Largely from India. White people will be a minority in Australia the same year as the UK, 2050. For children in Britain and Australia it will be 2030 in many regions.

  38. ​ @jameswhyte5094 It has been politicians paying too much attention to economics that got us here. Stopping immigration would bring economic and social change as well. I for one would accept a lower standard of living in order to end immigration. A few changes I can see is a reduction in welfare spending, increased costs for health care, and women would need to increase birthrates to a minimum average of 2.2. But without competing with foreigners, and with more women out of the workforce raising children, wages would rise. And within a few years our standard of living might be much higher.

  41. That was over fifty years ago Whitlam. He cancelled the White Australia Immigration Policy, and instead introduced multiculturalism. He introduced welfare for single mothers and No Fault Divorce. He then introduced 18C to make it illegal to complain about anything he'd done. But the LNP never changed anything he did either.

  43. I'm Australian and my ancestors lived there more than a thousand I'm sure, they've been traced to the 1300s. But you do I hope realise that the Anglican church is much younger than a thousand years.

  45. This is so true. I'm Australian and in the 1970s a factory worker could afford a modest house, maintain a car, and support a wife and a few kids. Today this takes two parents working full time, and a daycare worker, and they are all taxed by the government.
