Generally it’s small groupings and can’t be fully representative. One study said 7% and one said not enough definitive proof. So it varies. *Thats fine*. But if there isn’t enough data to make a definitive conclusion, then we can’t make rules barring people from entry, that’s wrong.

  16. The way I would immediately sign up to pay 50% tax rate if I knew I’d have healthcare, public transit, funded schools, the unhoused and poor are taken care of, we did rehabilitation rather than imprisonment etc.

Also if you don’t look the dirt off his boots, but still heavily defend him even in areas where he’s demonstrably wrong, what’s that make you? How many times does a big genius like JP and an “expert” get to be wrong until he’s no longer credible? How problematic must he prove himself to be until he’s discredited? Welcome to actual science, it ages and new thought and “peer reviewed”(also look at who’s citing him, good thing to know) evolves. JP has devolved because he’s a grifter, it’s how he makes his money, it’s why he’s not really teaching anymore and instead doing Joe Rogan and PragerU videos. You don’t understand how this stuff works, you’re just a fan and you try to award yourself points for not totally agreeing with him on everything, yet dodge the flaws that are inherent in his thinking.

And then when I returned to my volunteer harm reduction site to retrieve my water bottle a cop was there “talking” to our participants and went “oh don’t worry sir, I’ve got this” as if I was gonna complain about our participants.

  47. See but why aren’t you mad about it? You highlight the bad part but then immediately pivot to “others are worse!” Those should be isolated grievances. Yes others are worse, but what she does/doesn’t do is still bad. Both things can exist at the same time, otherwise we’ll always be left grasping for scraps.

California’s recall setup is dangerous and getting abused by these right wingers. Also the possibility that a Larry Elder is governor is all bad because he’s terrible AND if Feinstein retires or something else happens, he gets to pick her replacement thus ruining the senate majority.
