  3. People always conflate, the actually struggle and persevering through the struggle. I’ll say this as a diabetic, the struggle itself really really sucks and I wish it never existed and I never had to go through it. I’m also proud of myself through getting through it every day, that said a piece of me has died getting that chip on my shoulder. I wish I never had to get strong and get through it.

Just Dore and his like who tend to support accelerationism don’t tend to see the upfront harm/long term after effects that that ideology can cause right? That’s how I think about it at least. It’s a lot more complex than he makes out, frustratingly and unnecessarily complex, but that’s the reality.
