Bill Burr has empathy and is authentic. That what makes him so great when he talks about difficult subjects.

The playbook 1) Begin with: "Thoughts and prayers" bla bla bla etc. 2) Move on to: "Let's not politicise this tragedy" 3*) Deny causality: "It isn't part of a systemic problem, it's a lone crazy (white) person that did this!" 4) Dont do anything to actually face the underlying cause of the violence 5) Rinse and repeat 3* If a non-white person committed this crime, go to The Playbook - section 2: "Blacks, Mexicans, Muslims - Everything is always their fault". Feel free to add anything if I skipped a step

Nothing wrong with being Pro-Palestine. It the same as being against occupation, apartheid and extra-judicial imprisonment and killings.

Polievre gives me strong "Ted Cruz" vibes.

More like genitalia over policy

I'll chime in with how we do it in my country of Denmark: University is free. As a student you get 6000 krona (850 USD) a month, and that barely covers rent, utilities, transportation, as Denmark is more expensive than the US. Most students have a job and/or take a small student loan on the side. The loans are cheap and can manageably be paid off within 10-15 years without resorting to canned tuna & noodles. It works pretty well. Sure I pay more in taxes than you guys, but I don't have to worry about getting sick and having to sell my house. Huh. Seems like this well regulated socialism thing actually kinda works...

Fun fact: Ben Shapiro sounds almost like a human male if played on x0.75 speed.

Their actions are borne out of desperation, not what Generation "Don't heal, just steal" would respect or acknowledge. The sheer greed of these already very powerful and wealthy people is unfathomable to me.
7
I'm from Denmark and live near the shooting that happened. The shooter had a hunting rifle and managed to kill 3 people (2 of them 17 years old), and seriously injure 4 people. Imagine if this nut had access to an AR-15 and tactical body armour? For us, this is a national tragedy. For the US, it would be Tuesday.

As a businessman I can respect Musk. As a human being, I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.

Let's get one thing straight for all the Karen mouthbreathers out there: Scientific experimentation on animals bred for the purpose is perfectly ethical and unfortunately necessary. However causing suffering during said animal studies in entirely immoral and criminal. (If my initial sentence has caused you grief, just think of the last time you had a burger and a milkshake...)

We Europeans stopped tuning in to CNN almost as soon as it was possible to watch it over here. No sane European follows any other US media outlet, either. I watch Al Jazeera for thorough and unbiased international reports.

This has nothing to do with religion. Most zionists are atheists, just as the Nazis weren't a religious group. The Palestinian struggle is a national political struggle, not a religious one. Otherwise, please explain why Saudi zealots are staying silent?

You need to read up a bit more on the subject. If you don't have strong unions or strong laws, the average worker will get screwed by their employers. Average minimum wage has more or less been stagnant since the late 60's. It doesn't take a genius economist (and you and I definitely aren't one) to realize that something is awfully wrong with the current labour market in the US. Now add gig work, lack of healthcare and people unable to afford basic living costs on 2-3 jobs and the only thing I can say about your comment is this: Total and utter BS.
4
We really shouldn't be too concerned about what failed human being Crowder thinks about...well...anything, really...
4
Yes, you can. I find it odd that the very same people that can laugh about "Clayton Bixby" and the "Race draft", suddenly stop laughing when they're the subject of the joke. It's hypocrisy.

Disclaimer: I'm not American. From bar fights to domestic issues to knives to gun violence and deaths. The true problem in the US is violence culture not having guns per se. Switzerland eg. has almost as many guns per capita as the US. You don't see anywhere near the level of crime, violence and deaths. Even the ones that don't include guns at all.

The irony of supremacist fascists today going out of their way to defend Israel (not Jews, mind you) solely because they're killing Muslims en masse. And the political class happily using dehumanising, racist language to score a few extra points. Mark my words: The next decade will clearly show Muslims being treated just as the Jews were a century ago. Good times ahead.

Greed and cruelty are the basis of the United States. Everything else are just lies to help the people think they matter.

From now on I'll be referring to that car as SSla. "Its Heilectric".
3
Damn, that's a good joke 🤣

Untenable ? Shapiro is a moron. - Rescind tax cuts (Trump & Bush) - Legalise and control marihuana - Progressively tax capital gains - Remove, let's just say, 100 billion USD from yearly military spending. You'll still be spending more than the top 10 countries combined. - raise minimum wage to 15 USD. Poor people spend their money locally -> more tax gains. Complicated problems can have elegant and simple solutions. There. I just solved the US budget crisis and you can now implement infrastructure renovation, healthcare for all and free public education. You're welcome. Now please stop supporting terrorist Israel.

It's honestly a good idea. If people are drafted into service, perhaps the US will be less inclined to beat the drums of war when their own kids are paying the cost of war, not just the kids of poor people and immigrants. Very few people do indeed join the armed forces out of a sense of duty. Most do it because of economic/educational perks or because they have very few choices. And yes, the hypocrisy of Trump himself is not lost on me. Doesn't make it a bad idea.

"performance"?
2
Nah, dude was gay, just so far in the closet he lived in Narnia.
2
I disagree. It wasn't a very good special, granted. And he became somewhat preachy. Again no argument there. But I believe you've sorely missed the message of the final half of his special. Said in one word: Daphne. I find it sadly convenient that NO ONE mentioned that, which is arguably the most important statements in his show. And intent matters.
2
It probably helped the polls for people to realise that Polievre is a total asshole.
2
Politics in the US: Racism? Sure. Homophobia? Go for it. Pathetic culture war issues? Hell yeah! But GOD FORBID you level factual criticism of Israel, an occupying nation and proven Apartheid country according to Amnesty, HRW and several other human rights NGO's. Apparently you're an anti-Semite if you think that Palestinians deserve to exist...
2
But if the rest of the media actually covered the truth, it might irritate the sensitivities of white middle class voters and viewers, and who knows, some might start to believe that Israel is in fact a supremacist authoritarian colonialism nation. And we can't have them feeling bad over their breakfast, can we?
2
Great Show. Subbed.
2
Wait, what? You guys still have kids pledge allegiance to the flag? That shit is like 1930's authoritarian handbook stuff...
2
Never forget or forgive these people for what they are doing. All Israelis not actively against this are responsible (97% according to a poll in December were either "okay" or "wanted more action")
2
Sure, except great powers have traditionally not given up on a war until far too late. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan (US and USSR). And Biden calling Putin a war criminal is 1) Hilarious coming from the same guy that voted for the Iraq war and 2) extremely dangerous as you're cornering a wounded beast. Especially if public opinion in Russia turns against him. It's reckless.
2
@DaemonJax When all the billionaires propping up the regime start to bleed their billions, I believe the military and intelligence apparatus will overthrow him. Russia's economy could possibly have withstood a low intensity conflict for many years, but the current casualty rates and, probably more importantly, the impact of sanctions and looming technical default represent a clear danger to the current regime. Putin's ego however won't allow for an antebellum status quo.
2
The true spirit of MAGA is admitting to the lies and failures we believed along the way...
2
That's called the YouTube algorithm, dude...
2
Who didn't know that Trump was lying?
2
Well, he is in fact married to a rights lawyer that helped bring the ICJ case against Israel. I'm thinking Clooney isn't so happy about his president arming a genocide and repeatedly lying to everyone about their conduct.
2
There is no "far left" in the US. It's a joke whenever these morons use those terms or go further and call their own politicians "socialists" or "communists". I know, because I'm literally a Neo-Socialist.
2
"The left" Oh honey... Here in Europe, they're considered conservatives.
2
They still won't directly blame Trump. Pay attention to what they say. They haven't learned a single thing.
2
Yeah, those musicians be shocking. Elvis, Bowie, Prince, Queen, Glamrockers, Madonna etc etc etc Hell, even the Beatles were considered subversive in their heyday.
2
The new playbook for GOP presidential candidates: Celebrity - check Wealthy - check Fanboy cult - check Personality and/or mental disorder - check Sexual predator- ...aaaaand check. Seems like Elon "Felon" Musk is ready to go in '24 or '28.
2
3 PMs in one year! In Israel, Belgium and Italy that's considered "below average"...
2
Were in "1770s France" right now in the developed world A gilded age where the rich and powerful aren't paying their fair share, and focusing on belligerence abroad to appear stron. Instead we see an increased burden on the weakest and poorest among us and hollowing out all the benefits and rights that we've all fought and bled for. But if this continues, it'll be 1789... And there's no Scarlet Pimpernel if people are in revolt everywhere.
2
Harvard is indeed a corporation first, an institution of higher learning is secondary. Sadly, many of the "legacy" alumns with financial ties to Israel, AIPAC and other political groups have a much more "important" voice than faculty and students. It's rotten to the core. No democracy when it comes to making money in the US - even when it concerns genocidal regimes led by war criminals.
2
The real surprise is that Fred isn't gay!
1
Let's be real: Kamala Harris can't win. She has the charm and charisma of maggots in a wildebeest carcass.
1
What is family values? I'm seriously asking.
1
I believe until Americans stop fellating everything that has to do with the military, except actually be willing to put up their own kids to serve or pay for veterans health and benefits, the military will continue to be an integral symbol in American politics. "Thank you for your service". What a bunch of fucking hypocrites.
