The problem is not that Jeff Bezos and other billionaires went into space. The problem is that they came back.

To Eric Adams: "THIS IS NOT A BLACK THING...THIS IS A YOU THING...THIS IS A JUSTICE THING." I love that heckler.

Elizabeth Warren keeps lying about her "friend" Bernie Sanders. With friends like Elizabeth Warren, who needs enemies?
338
Mayor Pete: We locked up black people to keep them safe from gangs. George Orwell couldn't have written that line any better for his novel "1984". Pete has the double-speak down perfectly.
336
Ted Cruz: "Can a baby be racist?" Ted, look in your mirror for the answer to that.
324
I have no faith in the American electorate. Not only will they pick the most unqualified candidates, but they will often vote against their own self-interest.
285
The one thing Bill Maher said which I totally agree with is that Bill Maher should quit. He is so stupid and elitist.
278
Unlike some phony candidate of the past, Bernie will never smear a sitting congresswoman and soldier by saying she is "a Russian asset". Never.

I worked for a very large company which everyone knows many years ago. One time we had a severe ice storm. Even though the city told everyone not to drive, this company told us to come to work at 10 am. I drove the 17 miles from my home to work. It was terrifying. If I had known how bad it was going to be, I never would have gone to work that day. Companies do not care about their employees. If employees get injured or killed, then the company can always find someone else.

The Sergeant-at-Arms should have had security throw them out of the chamber when they started making these childish outbursts. When I was a kid we went to church every Sunday. They had a cry room in the back for children who could not control themselves. Children act out when they want attention. The cry room gave them a place to act out and denied their getting further attention. Congress should set up cry rooms in the back of both chambers for people like Boebert and Greene.

I don't want to live in a country that does not guarantee health care as a human right either. Can you adopt me?
182
I am a citizen of the USA. I would boo the US national anthem now too.
179
Why don't Joe Biden and Third Way just tell the truth and admit they are really Republicans?
176
When you are morally correct on your position and you believe in your position, you don't need to twist yourself into knots trying to explain your position.
167
This would be entirely legal in my home country, the USA, where we have nearly unlimited legalized hate speech. We also have nearly unlimited legalized gun ownership. I am working to leave the USA.
161
Capitalism is based on unlimited consumption of limited resources. Something has got to give.
159
I read this on someone's profile on a dating site once: "If you watch Fox News, I'm sorry but I cannot deprogram you."
141
This is why so many anchors gush over the millionaires and billionaires who come on their shows. Why talk to workers or people struggling, when they can bring on Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, or Jamie Dimon to condescend to the rest of us about what is wrong, how to "fix" it, and what "really matters"? These anchors relate to other rich people, not to their viewers or the rest of us.
136
Sen. Ron Johnson: When you have to come out and say you are not heartless, that means you are heartless.
109
Some people might call this the sexist term "cat fight". This is more accurately a "rat fight".
102
In her defense for getting five strikes, she cannot count that high.
95
Take everything he says seriously, no matter how stupid it is.
94
"Ding-dong! The witch is dead." That is probably the most appropriate way to acknowledge Pat Robertson's death without the use of swearing, feces, or arson.
91
The Democratic Party needs to realize that Joe Biden being their nominee means Donald Trump gets re-elected. Maybe that's what they want.
90
I love Bernie's "onesies" exhibits because they show things ordinarily cute and adorable, which RFK's group has turned into sending messages which kill children. Bernie's argument humanizes the harm RFK does, especially to some of the most vulnerable people who have no say over it.
72
So simple and direct. Normally, Democrats are playing a game of 4-D chess when the task is connect point A to point B by drawing a straight line. Nice to see a change in typical failed Democratic strategy.
71
The "mistakes" cops keep making are really called crimes.
67
I would welcome even her coming to the realization that what she and others have done for so many years is very toxic. But with her (cough, cough) "issues" with telling the truth, I would not think she is being truthful in her unwittingly self-condemning tweet. Remember, “You need both a public and a private position.” --Hillary Clinton in private remarks in 2013.
66
DeSantis also cracked down on undocumented laborers. There are scenes of construction sites in Florida where no work is being done because they cannot get enough workers to come in.
64
When I lived in the Netherlands, I took a combination of trams and train from The Hague across country to the Amsterdam airport. Sometimes the train I took was higher speed, ~90 mph, which is faster than any Amtrak train goes. Total price of the trip: about 15 euros or $18. It was great. No car, no parking, just sit and ride.
64
She actually ran for US President as a progressive! I liked her better when she was in the movie "The Exorcist". It was much more entertaining watching her head spin in that.
61
Trump voters, you did this. This is your fault.
59
Maybe Joe Biden is actually learning from some of Obama's (and his own) previous failures...
57
How in the world is Donald Trump's favorability rating only at -7? I would expect about 30% favorable from Trump's MAGA cult, 10% no opinion, and 60% unfavorable from everyone who is not insane. That would give Donald Trump a favorability rating of -30, not -7.
51
The Matt Binder AI glitched. No wonder he claimed we should not be worried.
46
The debt ceiling is unconstitutional. 14th Amendment, "Section 4. The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned..." The debt ceiling, which in its current form was passed as the Public Debt Acts of 1939 and 1941, should be challenged as unconstitutional since it directly questions the validity of the public debt of the USA beyond the artificial limit it creates.
45
I think a lot of websites would shut down because of the mountain of liability against them. The websites which do not shut down would only allow closely human-moderated content, which means from large news and media companies only. The backlash against the Supreme Court would be so severe if people could no longer use social media, I do not see how this could stand. But it would be total chaos at the start.
42
Infrastructure is intrinsically tied to climate change. Oil and gas pipelines, the electrical grid with still uses a lot of fossil fuels, and roads and bridges which are used by so many internal combustion engine cars are just a few examples of this.
41
Watching Piers Morgan's show two times is two times too many in one lifetime.
40
Right-wingers including Maher get outraged over the dumbest things.
39
I wonder how long it took the Harris campaign to reject RFK, jr. "We got a call from RFK, jr. about...?" "NO!!!!!!!"
38
"Blame Canada, Blame Canada, They're not even a real country, anyway" Been there, done that. South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut
38
Jon Stewart will appeal to older people who need to hear what he has to say. Gen Z already seem to be much better informed about the issues; they just need to be motivated. Gen X (my generation) and older have become much more easily conned by both Republicans and by right-wing Democrats. We need Jon Stewart to get us to stop believing lies, to stop voting for politicians who will do bad things, and to stop watching right-wing BS media.
38
I lived in Florida for eight years. It is by far the dumbest, most hellish place I have ever lived. It is deceiving because I loved the weather and the beaches there. Still, I was so relieved when I left. I will never go back there.
38
He may also get in more trouble with the SEC over his recent tweets allegedly influencing the price of Twitter stock which he would want to be lower.
37
So funny. I love watching her squirm. Remember, in court lawyers ask questions to which they already know the answers. When someone lies, the evidence is already cued up to show that. I hope she goes down big time.
36
I am a gay man who lived in Palm Springs, California, in 2017. I used to attend a gay men's chat group at the LGBT Center in Palm Springs. After Bill Maher said a horrible N-word joke, the white guys in the gay men's chat group said that it was OK to say the N-word, except they said the actual word. I and two other guys tried to educate them, but they would not have it. At least 10 of these racists kept saying the actual N-word! Eventually, I stormed out and complained to the people who ran the LGBT Center. They did nothing. I never went back to that hateful, racist group.
35
The woman married to a sexual predator is endorsing another sexual predator. Big surprise there.
34
Just because someone is an "outsider" doesn't mean they don't lie. Go to Yang's video on Youtube and flag it as misleading.
33
Drowning out liars and cons with a whistle and signs is productive.
