It's a shame that wagons don't sell better. I love em.

Having driven countless CX9s on road trips between Toronto-Cornwall I’ve got to say I love them. Super comfortable, quiet on the highway. I really like their infotainment as well. I prefer a scroll wheel instead of a touch screen. I also really appreciate the power train. It’s nice that you hardly have to downshift when accelerating. It feels more lively than a lot of V6 competitors honestly. My biggest issue with them is the fuel range just isn’t there. Wish Mazda would give their vehicles bigger gas tanks.

I don’t love EVs buttttt this Ioniq 6 is probably my favourite one on the market, I love that the rear end gives old Porsche 911 vibes.
78
I'd buy this over anything else in the same class.
69
Ahhh Montreal the city where you miss your turn and it takes you 20 mins to circle back around lol
66
I had the new rogue for a road trip today, I was seriously impressed. Tho I prefer the looks of this outlander.
59
I guess I can stay up a little longer and watch this.

I was just driving a 2023 Elantra Essential (base model) and I really like them. It’s comfortable, I LOVE how the turn signals feel. I did 150 mi trip with cruise control set at 75 mph and according to the car I averaged 49.5 mpg. The 2.0L and CVT are honestly a good pairing. I like how responsive the CVT is. I personally like it more than the new Civic and Sentra. Although i think the Jetta and Mazda 3 are nicer to drive.

There's just something about high mileage cars that gets my blood flowing. My parents have a 2003 Volvo XC70 2.5T with 262k in mint condition. Just waiting for the day they pass it down to me. But the E46 is probably my favorite gen of the 3 series.
46
I recently drove a Mini Countryman S manual and when I was at a red light I accidentally threw it into reverse thinking it was 1st gear and nearly backed into my boss who was behind me in a dodge Ram lol.
46
Gotta go build one now … I wasn’t a fan when it came out, but the design is starting to grow on me!
41
That interior is already 10 years old..and for $126k... absolutely not.
40
I like your first impressions mainly because your voice has a calming sound to it, and it's not annoying to listen to like some other car channels, also your video quality and content is impressive! I'd love one day for you to test drive a 2017 Lexus RX350!
38
Glad you’re finally driving one. We had a 2020 Escape 2.0T as a company vehicle for about a year. It was overall a decent suv, fuel efficient and comfortable. The 8 speed automatic was very unrefined and jerky in traffic, and the B&O subwoofer in the trunk would rattle. Looks like they’ve fixed those issues for the facelift which is nice.
37
I wonder if this is the storm that's heading towards me. I'm in eastern Ontario and we're supposed to get a bit of freezing rain, and 15 cm of snow. Hope my Buick with my all seasons and failing transmission can handle it lmao. I see quite a few people in my city winter driving mustang's, BRZs, Miata, 911s etc.
35
Jesus christ, that Volvo is beautiful, in that spec.
34
I feel naughty for really liking this car.. Lol
27
When people ask me who my favorite youtuber is, I always say The Topher. Even though I prefer the 2008-2012 generation escape, this is nice too!
26
What a great way to make my dreary Monday better! Another top tier review. - at $305k USD with Audi switchgear is just unacceptable.
25
Top tier review as always, but at $240k cdn it would be a hard sell when the 911 Turbo/Turbo S exists or even the GT3 Touring.
24
The interior chime upon start up is just super satisfying. My dream car. I may or may not build & price one at least once a week lol.
23
@12:14 looks like that SUV that passed you only had his daytime running lights on lol..
22
We had a 2020 Tiguan for a company vehicle for a while and we constantly averaged 32 mpg. - much better to drive than the 20' Escape Titanium we have now.
22
Still my dream to drive a Porsche someday, even a base Macan I’d be thrilled with lol
22
God I love Volvo’s. Ours just passed 242,000 miles.. cruising at 85 mph is where our XC70 2.5T shines. I can’t afford a 850R but I’d love to find either an 850 GLT or an S70 preferably in a 5 speed. Also I can’t believe your channel has surpassed 100K subscribers, I was here when you had about 10K. So congrats on that!
22
It's a poor man's G wagon. Love it. I work for a Chrysler dealership and hope we get one in soon!
21
@goynwa7110 I mean in Canada a loaded stinger is like $53k a loaded S4 is $74k.. Stinger is a bargain in comparison to the S4, C43 & M340i. Idk if Canadian prices are just whack or what.
20
While this is stunning and actually think it looks better than the S class I do think it could use a V8 as an option.
18
@DEVILTAZ35 I like Mazdas automatics. They’re smooth and super responsive.
18
Yesss!!! So excited to watch this!! @8:03 you were right the first time, it was a CX-9, the older one.
17
I have a few friends who own this generation 335i and there's always something broken on them lmao. Burning oil, coil packs, valve cover gaskets, turbo issues, electrical issues etc. But still super fun to drive when they're working lol.
17
The wind noise on the highway would be annoying, especially at that price point. Time to go build one on their site now lol.
17
My coworker has one, he took me for a ride in it. His isn’t the performance as it’s a bit older, but still an absurdly fast car. The upgraded B&O sound system was to die for.
17
I can’t wait until my 2013 Accent 6 speed is paid off in the next couple of years, because I’m definitely buying either an Elantra Sport or Veloster.
16
Mercedes needs to get you in an E63 AMG S wagon ;)
16
This was one of those BMWs where I wasn’t sold on the front end, but I’ve really grown to like it. It has such F off energy.
15
We had a 20' Tiguan and drove it 40k in 6 months and never had a single issue until we traded it for a new Odyssey. My best friend had a 17' Golf that she drove the crap out of till 110k and didn't have any issues and never went to the shop. Tho I will say Mazda is better. But imo VW isn't as bad as you make them seem. I will say every automaker has problematic vehicles. Toyotas reliability has gone downhill over the past 5-10 years.
15
We had a 2019 Odyssey Touring (top trim in Canada) as a company vehicle for a while. It was flawless. Never a hiccup from the 10 speed auto. Very comfortable, average 26 mpg at 75 mph. It was quick, I remember out accelerating a Volvo XC60 lol. We got rid of it with 120k miles and not one issue. I’ve driven all the minivans in this segment and while I do like the Carnival I think the Odyssey is on top. Pacifica is alright, and the sienna has a CVT so I’ll pass.
14
If I was in the market for a new car I'd probably get a Camry Hybrid, but I'd rather it in the XLE trim.
13
I honestly couldn't drive a vehicle with fake engine sounds coming through the speakers, just like the Fusion Sport... cool truck though.
12
@SerPurple51 interesting. I’ve driven both as well, and they feel pretty solid compared to its rivals. The RAV4 incredibly cheap, same with the Escape. It’s on par with the CRV and Tiguan in driving feel. The CX5 is still my top pick tho. Also never dealt with or head of the CV joint issues.
12
I know the RX is ancient BUT I still really like them!
12
Unpopular opinion: RS7 looks better than the RS6
12
At $152,000 CDN I think it’s a bit expensive. If I’m buying an off roader I’m getting a wrangler rubicon, if I’m buying a luxury SUV it’s gonna be a Cayenne S or BMW X7.
12
I love that you’re getting to test some Porsche Products! The Macan is gorgeous.
12
Whenever I'm having a bad day, like today, I watch your videos. Always makes me feel better. What's funny to me is I remember when your channel had only 10K subs and I knew it would blow up.
12
@6:45 doesn't surprise me that there's a Buick LaCrosse driver with their highbeams on lmao.
12
I honestly think the Sonata drives better than the Camry and Altima. The Accord is still on top I think!
11
I fckn love Volvo. I wonder how long term reliability is on the new ones vs the older ones. My parents still have their 03' XC70 2.5T with 270k mi and its been rock solid. I'm trying to convince my mom to look at a newer V60 so i can have her XC70 lol.
11
Yes!!! You finally get to test a minivan. THIS is the content I've been waiting for!
