When money comes too easily, its not often very well deployed. Like on endless consumer cr@p and status symbols for a crazy broad. Men with money typically need to have a much better idea what has attracted the woman in their life. Men who've had to work hard for their resources hopefully understand this better than those to which money has flowed easily for playing a sport (ie something that people essentially play for fun).

  4.  @hopeful8975  Yeah I'm not familiar with American sports tbh. It said he was a footballer of some description and there was reference to him playing to a professional standard. No doubt made a decent amount of easy money nonetheless. We have a similar thing in the UK. Professional football players who attract floods of women and don't even question why they've landed a model type. Very naive. The same woman wouldn't look at them twice if they weren't loaded. Typically they end up getting rinsed in divorce after a few years. I do think a lot of it comes down to the ease with which money is made though. When you consider sports stars (this is essentially something people play literally for fun and yet they receive multi millions for it), the sacrifice is very minimal on their part so I think they spend it far less wisely. People who've had to do something hard to earn money you'd like to think spend it more wisely also. Including not entertaining the idea of bringing a lunatic woman into their life.

For God's sake start holding adult females accountable as we do adult males. Not holding my breath. Whatever.

Ironically her lie actually stems from an idiotic bias in our culture that sees us more likely to excuse women of accountability.   16. I think we have to start recognising that taking a man's home and kids away from him IS a form of abuse/control itself. You glibly suggest he should have just "kept things moving" but I'm perfectly satisfied you wouldn't say this if it the roles were reversed. If the woman was losing her home and her children AND being put on the clock to pay the man to enjoy a family life (to her own exclusion) it would be described as some sort of mental and emotional torture. It's just plainly dishonest when women describe things in this way and I assure you men DO see it when you talk like this. It's an existential trauma. And whats most sinister is you understand this perfectly well. You don't need it pointing out.

  21. I think the difference was in this case she was taking the children (ie his family) with her. Would you have felt differently if your husband had taken your child with him when he left for a younger woman? That might have altered your state of mind a bit. Do you think?

  28. I'm not sure the "strong and independent" thing was a major factor. She was asking TikTok how to make money and saying she was scared of being alone. So not strong and independent-more like confused, naive and ill prepared/lacking independent means.  In other words just someone wanting a divorce. Nothing wrong with that but nothing like the picture you painted.

  29.  @stephanied9629  The "controlling" accusation is thrown about so commonly at men nowadays though. People are waking up to the fact it's usually not true. In fact I'd go as far as to say it's as common as it is because it is peak projection. Women are far, far more intent on controlling men (essentially getting them to do what they want) than vice versa. They devote endless amounts of time to it. Nowadays women seem to think men are "controlling" if they have any requirements of them at all. It's fairly pathetic.

Although they quite obviously should so it's an option to protect against manipulative, abusive (and ultimately murderous) women.
