If the officers want to risk their own safety by not immediately dropping the guy, that's on them. Having a wounded civilian at their feet to protect however, changes things.

Things are a bit trickier when they have nukes.

@blessedwithchallenges9917 Your argument doesn't exactly help the President. Had he not withheld what he knew, Pelosi, Biden, state governors, city mayors, etc. would have acted accordingly to the severity of the threat. Decisions and courses of action can only be as good as the evidence they're based on. Edit: Also, the first US case was diagnosed on Jan 20 so it was already here when he implemented the travel restrictions with China. It may have helped slow it some but in the end, informing state leaders of his real concerns so they could properly prepare would have been far more helpful.

PickingNamesSux In all fairness, a major stock market crash would have likely have been equally damaging if not more so in the long run. He should have at least given governors, mayors, congress etc. a heads up concerning the real severity of the threat though. That would have let them prepare properly.

No, it's bizarre regardless. I don't see how they hope anyone other than those who already expect it to find significant fraud will take it's results seriously.

@SuperP37 I know. That doesn't necessarily mean that he didn't somehow know it was coming and was prepared for it.

@scout-187inf The involvement of the other two hasn't been determined yet and there's not enough info to determine his motives. It's not exactly rare for someone to committ suicide by cop (while taking a few with them) for unknown reasons or reasons that wouldn't seem worth it to most.

@sifery9943 Begone sad troll.

They were more worried about trying to work with the Republicans for "unity." It normally requires 60 votes in the Senate to pass such a relief bill. Which would have required 10 Republican votes. It seems they've finally given up on that and are just going to push it through via budget reconcilliation instead. That only requires a simple majority. They'll likely start the process in the next couple of days and it won't take long to complete it.

The covid relief will likely get passed soon. They were hoping they could get enough Republicans on board to do it bi-partisan but since that doesn't look like it's going to happen, they'll likely resort to using budget reconcilliation to get it through. That only requires a simple majority vote in the Senate instead of the 60 they would otherwise need.

I've seen no evidence entered, nor heard any witnesses testify under oath, in court backing any election fraud beyond the tiny amount found in every election.

@SableTwilight She voluntarily left due to her inability to pay. The moratorium does nothing to erase the debt of unpaid rent. It just prevented one from being evicted for not paying. All that back rent will have to be repaid eventually. If she stayed her debt would continue to grow. The financially sound solution would be to leave and live on property she owns.
