No, they're normal people. When you work a job that has you dealing with the darker side of humanity/society on a regular basis you eventually get cynical and/or learn to just laugh it away. Deal with cokeheads, methheads etc. long enough and they become a joke to you... or you go mad.

53% of the voters bought a lemon they thought was an orange...

Because the hoopla of some politician showing up in the middle of emergency efforts is so useful and not distracting at all. The only purpose of such visits is for political gain. These days, someone in India can see all the devastation they need to understand the severity of a disaster in the US from many sources.

Tucker up there earning them rubles.
11
Everyone already knew she would win the popular vote. The only question is whether or not the people in the swing states understand economics enough to elect her there.

@DonnaMead-wr4fd For the photo op and getting in the way of emergency efforts with all the hoopla that goes with him. Unless he and his entourage are physically helping, he has no useful reason to be there.
9
Someone should audit the money he spends on all of his frivolous attention seeking lawsuits. I doubt it's all properly accounted for.
9
That's why he's shutting down the safety agencies. No reports on all the damage Old Roadkill Eater will do.
9
She hasn't had a chance yet...learn how your government works.
8
FEMA is responding almost as quickly as North Carolina's Governor has. Governors are the first responders after all.

It really isn't. They could deport them just fine without abusing an ancient law unconstitutionally. The only reason they did it this way is to set a precedent for violating due process. Now, according to the law they used, all they have to do is point at someone and say they are an enemy and that person gets no hearing, no attorney, or anything. They just get disappeared.

If you want higher prices, increased inflation, increased trade deficit, the strengthening of our enemies, and other general chaos, by all means, vote for Trump.
6
It'd be a shame if Americans continue to believe that tariffs will actually have such an effect when history has shown multiple times that they don't.
6
We elected them so this is what we deserve.
5
Can you really blame him for choosing his stock portfolio over the American people...
5
Apparently bots get paid for six word posts...
4
Made from his own ambergris...
4
Since when is reporting facts interference?
4
Considering it cost nearly $500,000 everytime Trump went golfing while in office, security is apparently expensive.
4
He made the unforgivable mistake of trying to actually work on a bipartisan bill concerning firearm regulations. Apparently, if you even acknowledge the existence of other points of view these days you become an instant pariah...
4
Housing as well if he tariffs Canadian lumber.
4
Because his insecurities have him trying to prove he can out "Art of the Deal" the world... when that book wasn't even relevant to anything beyond real estate and pump and dump scams from the start.
4
Still more info than you get from a Trump "speech".
4
Going by your comment history you think most things are fake. Are you sure you're not just delusional?

For one their count is most likely off by at least ~1% or so like all initial counts. Their races were mostly 60/40 ish so the average inaccuracy of the initial count doesn't really matter and they can safely declare their results. If they had races that were within ~2%, they'd still be counting and likely be the last state to finish given their history of underhiring election workers. They got "lucky" in the 2000 race in that SCOTUS dragged their feet so long that Gore conceded on safe harbor day (as one should) despite pretty much everyone knowing that he likely would have won Florida (and the Presidency) had they been forced to do a full recount. That was the last really close race for a national position/Governor they've had since that time period. Edit: Their sloppiness will come back to bite them again one day but for now they've become pretty heavy on cult of personality voters so their races won't be very close for awhile.

They weren't sent there, they went there. They're legal immigrants and they chose areas in Ohio for job availability and decent cost of living.
3
It would have to be limited. It's made from his own ambergris
3
No, please vote for him. He can still pull off an upset.
3
Much easier to come from Spain than from south of our border.
3
Drinking binge with his good buddy Bannon. The red underneath really brings out the orange.

A strike now could potentially be fatal to the economy due to how volatile and fragile it currently is. Accepting the original deal (which was worker friendly) in order to avoid a strike then renegotiating for better terms later under a more stable economy would have been the best solution. Eight of the twelve total unions involved agreed. The other four got greedy and brought this on themselves.
3
Who exactly would find his pathetic performance funny. He barely put any effort into trying to seem like he was joking.
3
At least some, if not all of this is going to. He really did mess up this time. Even without the classified documents issue, he violated the Presidential Records Act pretty badly. On top of that, if he moved stuff around during the investigation and it can be proven, then he's really in trouble.
3
Pretty sure that requires and act of Congress for it to apply beyond the federal government... not that our king cares.
3
@safetyfirstintexas Texas has become a sad joke to the rest of the country...We've been hoping you'd get the message and secede.
3
She voted more often than Vance has in the last year and Vance got his pay...
3
Physically, anyway. Mentally is a different story since the internet generations came along.
3
I'd sell my apple stuff... if I owned any of their garbage.
3
People saying "he's a comedian" need to remember that he's nearly unknown outside of the edgy internet kids who never grew up demographic. What passes for humor there, rarely translates well into the real world.
3
God isn't a fan of golden calves...
3
If you have to tell people they're jokes, then this guy failed at his job...
3
Alright Ivan

@joen8529 Nope. Sorry. You've obviously done no research.
2
His job will be to run the country into the ground like he has Tesla and X.
2
@dart1806 I don't hate him. I just don't have any respect for him (he's not smart or mature enough to bother hating.) Yes, they were given some documents. Just not all of them. Had they not been trying to accomodate him and spare the country the mess they ended up having to cause anyway, they would have gotten the warrant then and seized the rest of it. The only thing they did wrong was play nice for far too long. With someone like former President Trump, if you give them an inch, they'll try to take a few hundred miles.
2
His problem is that, since he didn't bother with the follow up procedures after supposedly verbally declassifying them, he can't prove that he declassified them before taking them. Also, it's one thing for a President to take such files "home" while they're still in office. Supposedly declassifying them to take with him as he leaves office is different thing altogether. On top of that, there's a law that any documents marked as classified that haven't been officially marked as declassified cannot be removed or destroyed. That would apply even if he did verbally declassify them since, without the follow up, none of them ever got officially marked declassified.
2
We got the biggest swamp monster out in 2020...now you want to put it back.
2
Oh lordy the sky is falling... whatever will we do?
2
You'd be surprised.
2
If you happen to be an edgy internet kiddie who never grew up maybe...
