  14. It won't matter. This ruling allows states to violate the 13th amendment and has no objective arguments to support it, only those based on spiritual/religious beliefs. The latter having no place in the secular legal code our founding fathers intended. Once the legal challenges start flying, it will eventually be undone. One of the dirty half-dozen SCOTUS justices already realized this and honorably voted against his fellow conservative justices who have gone rogue.

  19. Who cares where the President was when it hit? It's not like they're some wizard who can stop it? Politics is silly sometimes. Look to the Governors of the affected states. They're the frontline for such events and responsible for coordinating with the federal government for relief. I mean, beyond living in a fancy house and occasaionally signing papers, situations like this is why they were hired to begin with.

  22. Efficiency has never been the goal. Sabotage is the goal. They want to ruin all government services so they can say "we told you they were broken and needed to go". Smaller government makes it easier to centralize power and transform into an autocracy.
