@imoreviews8611 I'm not seeing the point. The wb trying to cash in on things has no bearing whatsoever on the case against President Trump. Their part in the process is no longer relevant so if they want to be a bit sleazy and try to profit from it, that's between them and the people dumb enough to donate to them. What the President's defenders need to be concerned with is the evidence and testimony backing the original claims not where said claims originally came from. Attacking someone whose part in the matter is no longer of any importance does nothing but make it look like Trump's supporters have no defense and are just trying to misdirect people's attention to something irrelevant.

@imoreviews8611 Technically the transcript of the phone call is enough to show that the President attempted to use the power of his office for personal gain. Nowhere near enough to warrant removal from office by itself, but damning nonetheless and a violation of his oath of office. So far, the witnesses interviewed have mostly been party to hearsay. That being said, the majority of the people they heard it from are already scheduled to testify themselves. Thus removing the hearsay problem. Right now, the primary goal of the Dems with these initial witnesses is to provide context for the transcript and potential charges. Much like recordings of mafia bosses, it's easy to miss what's actually being said without knowing the conditions it's being said under. Hence all of the witnesses scheduled. Let it run it's course and don't dismiss the charges out of hand. It may amount to nothing but there's an unprecedented amount of people involved who at least felt very uncomfortable with the President's actions (including some of his own staff) to simply ignore it.
1
The way things are going, the Dems will win the Senate so it really won't matter.
1
Lay off the Kool-Aid kid. You sound like a brainwashed cultist

With what Trump has recently been saying about Russia and NATO, any vulnerability due to Biden's cognitive decline would pale in comparison to the utter destruction of our national security were Trump the traitor to return to the White House.
1
If he ever grows up, he might make a very mediocre President. As is, he doesn't think before he acts, takes politics too personally, and apparently thinks using his office to exact vengrance for a political slight is legitimate. That type of behavior at the national level could only lead to disaster.
1
They're getting up to $9,000 in total over 6 months ($1,500/month.) Edit: That would barely get you a bug ridden one bedroom studio apartment where I live.
1
No they don't. Do some research...
1
I would say some time prior to getting owned by the Mongols but Russia wasn't technically Russia at that point so...never?
1
@darththeo Funny you should mention 2018. The rumor of more votes than registered voters was actually started because someone compared the 2018 number of registered voters to the 2020 vote tally. Edit: the 2020 registered voter count is over 3.6M.
1
Perhaps. We may be screwed but compared to Trump screwing us, we'll at least get a reach around from Biden.
1
Hillary won Nevada with 47.92% vs Trump's 45.50%. The vote currently stands at Biden with49.3% vs Trump's 48.7%. I'm not seeing anything odd about it. Other than Trump having picked up a little more support over last time.
1
Good old Derpowitz... wave a little money in front of him and say whatever you want him to. You all really should at least try to find someone with some actual integrity to interview. Derp's nothing but a washed up has been. I bet Harvard regrets ever having anything to do with him.
1
Because most people would prefer a President who thinks before they act, doesn't take politics too personally, and has the integrity to not use their office to exact petty vengeance over a political slight...in other words, someone with more maturity than a 12 year old.
1
Cry harder money man.
1
That's because only idiots believed that childish bs to begin with. The news is for adults. Kids can watch cartoons.
1
Shame he did everything he could to destablize NATO while he was in office. Had he not, they may have been in a better position to oppose Putin...
1
Putin completely screwed the pooch with this ill-advised invasion of Ukraine. Not only did his actions strengthen NATO, they've greatly soured his relationship with China as well. In his position, one would be hard pressed to screw up any more thoroughly than he has.
1
And the President is undoing the law with his pardons...what's your point?
1
Please do not breed
1
Well, Republicans can hack as well as Democrats. Get to work.
1
and elected federal officials who mismanaged this will not be re-elected...
1
Trump also did everything he could to destablize NATO while he was in office and is a known fanboy of Putin. Had he been elected we would most likely be assisting Putin with his invasion... Trump's just as useless as Biden only in the opposite direction. Only fools would even care what either has to say about anything these days.
1
If I were a Republican voter, I would find this constant babbling about the whistle-blower an insult to my intelligence. It's completely irrelevant. It's like claiming that a criminal case which has evidence and witness testimony to back it is illegitimate if the identity of the anonymous tipster who originally informed the police that a crime had been commited remains unknown...that's ridiculous. You really should tell your representatives to quit trying to con you with bs and actually offer legitimate arguments in defense of the President's actions or pack their bags when their terms expire.
1
Oddly, if you go back and look at previous elections, you'll find that state "color" doesn't seem to matter as much when it comes to different positions. Having a President from one party and Senators etc. from another isn't really that uncommon. It's interesting quirk of voter behavior.
1
Perfectly credible...Anyone who knows US elections knows that any mail ins not counted before election day (which in some states like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania would be all of them since their election laws prohibit early counting) get counted after the in person votes are tallied. Normally, the amount of mail ins aren't high enough to affect the outcome. This time however, a massive amount of people voted by mail, skewed heavily towards democratic voters (from 2:1 to 3:1 depending on the state) despite being equally available to all. On top of that, % reporting can be a bit deceiving as it doesn't properly account for mail ins (again, until now they were more or less an afterthought.) The states simply handled their in person votes first which ended up with seemingly but not actually conclusive % reporting and then did mail ins which were far more skewed in favor of the democratic candidate than the in person ballots and thus had a much more noticeable effect as they were added in. Those states whose laws allowed early counting got their numbers in relatively quickly and without spikes because they started with a huge chunk already processed and included. The straggling states are those whose laws prohibited earlier counting and thus the imbalanced effect came almost entirely in the last bit of counting. Despite what is being said by Republican party officials etc. no one was really surprised by these results. They knew roughly where they needed to be before mail ins were added in order to survive and they simply didn't get there. They're banking on the average person's lack of understanding of how our elections work as a smoke screen / excuse to cover their failure.
1
Definitely not. He would more likely have had us helping Putin with the invasion. Edit: He did go out of his way to destabilize NATO while he was in office and has praised Putin on this invasion up until recently after all.
1
Disney's responsibility for the things you mentioned is tied to the special status. When it goes, those responsibilities will indeed shift to the two counties it's located in... Edit: Also, the tax breaks they were getting were relatively minor. Any increase in revenue from Disney will still amount to less than the over all increased cost to the state.
1
It is said wrong... the increased revenue will not be that high and won't be enough to cover all the costs brought onto the state and local governments when taking over the responsibilities Disney had under the original agreement.
1
We have enough people who don't think things through before they act as it is. We don't need more. This little temper tantrum of his is going to end up costing Florida much more than it will Disney over all.
1
No such candidate currently exists.
1
Lol More like people are going to remember the Republicans who were corrupt/stupid enough to follow Trump not only into the gutter but down the drain as well and said Republicans will not be coming back up.
1
@johnnysneed4173 Then you support getting rid of Judge Cannon. Though technically she wrongfully invented some law to use against the American people...
1
They were already paying state taxes with some slight breaks thrown in. As for local, part of the deal made them responsible for funding/maintaining everything a county would be responsible for (and pay for via local tax revenue) so essentially they were paying local taxes as well. Now those costs will go to the two counties Disney's located in while tax revenue from Disney will only slightly increase, if at all. In other words, this is going to cost the state significantly more than it will Disney.
1
Try not to freeze your balls off...or do...no one really cares.
1
He's actually pretty broke when you throw his debt into the mix.
1
@newtoncooper4085 No
1
Perhaps, but it's doubtful that he'll owe Chinese banks/creditors nearly $1B like Trump.
1
Only coming from Trump's camp. The FBI and DoJ, if anything, have been far more accomodating to the former President than they would have been with any other subject of an investigation. They should have gotten the search warrant the moment he refused to fully comply with the subpoena. Now, the press has been atrocious all around from the left and the right. They've been too hung up on the classified document aspect and have never really tried to explain what's actually going on. Instead they go out of their way make the mundane seem sinister. The affidavit aspect has been their worst transgression. Rather than explain why such affidavits are almost always kept sealed prior to there being an indictment, they've gone out of their way to make it seem like some sort of cover up is behind the DoJ/FBI fighting the attempt to unseal them. It's extremely rare for such affidavits to be unsealed in criminal investigations prior to an indictment (the beginning of the trial phase where defense attorneys can file discovery motions and challenge warrants etc.) The warrant only shows what type of evidence they're looking for. The affidavits will tell you which specific legal violations they're focusing on. Knowing the specifics during the investigation phase is a huge advantage for the target of the investigation as they may have other types of evidence that will be relevant to the specific violation being investigated that the investigators aren't aware of yet and thus it can be hidden/destroyed in advance which would ultimately lessen the effectiveness of the investigation as a whole. It can also tip off accomplices/witnesses etc.
1
Chinese banks/creditors have Trump on the hook for nearly $1B in unpaid loans he owes them. There's very little they could have on Hunter than would match that kind of ownership.
1
The President leaking classified info during his press conference concerning the ISIS leader we assassinated comes to mind...
1
@cheesygoodness5415 At least bags of sand don't smell as bad as a pile of sh*t.
1
He's got the entire Russian state run media at his disposal and even they can't polish the turds he's dropped well enough to make it worth putting up with the smell...
1
And we in the US abolished it. Unfortunately, the only alternative we were given wasn't much better...
1
Dude. Donald Trump personally owes like $900 million in past Chinese loans. At least it appears as though the Bidens may have made money off China. Not lost it.
1
I was watching at the time. That clump was followed by a smaller one for Trump. Mail in ballots were estimated to favor democratic candidates by anywhere from 2:1 to 3:1 depending on the state. Combine that with the number of mail ins and that jump isn't really that odd.
1
This childish temper tantrum of his is actually going to cost Florida much more than it will Disney. I think many would rather have governors who think before they act and are wise enough to not take politics personally...and definitely not use their office to exact vengeance for political slights.
1
What's disgusting and disgraceful is Derpowitz. Wave a little money in front of him and he'll gladly spout whatever bs you want him to. The man's pathetic.
1
They own Trump...he's the one that owes Chinese banks/creditors nearly $1B in unpaid loans.
1
Problem is...it is actually perfectly constitutional. Anyone in the House or Senate foolish enough to side with Trump on this may well end up following him down the drain.
