@rogergeyer9851 He's at the very least being disingenuous. A polite way of lying. The Republicans tacked on a completely unnecessary add on to the budget involving a non-existent issue for the express purpose of getting the bill rightfully killed. He knows this yet he implies otherwise and makes the issue in question out to be legitimate.

She has the quiet center vote.
5
Yep. A lot of people seem to have forgotten about the quiet center leaning vote which Trump has wilfully chased away.
4
Nope. Trump doesn't have the center leaning vote. They're much quieter than the extremes and tend to sneak up on people on the polls.
3
@robinphillips3744 It's what happens when one spends eight years persecuting and purging the moderates and centrists of their own party. The center decides elections. They are just not as vocal as the extremes, so their numbers tend to sneak up on people.
3
Trump and Vance did one...
2
Trump did a co-interview with Vance. I'm not seeing the problem here.
2
Because God-Emperor Trump wants it...they need no other reason.
2
@SugarySerial No, they just get their info from the headlines and don't watch the actual video or do any research of their own.
2
If it pays better than mine, I'll be happy to replace you.
2
He made a TikTok campaign video out of it and other footage they made of him in section 60 away from the family who invited him... He also ignored such invitations for two years only accepting in an election year. It was clearly meant for campaign purposes hidden behind the invitation. Quit defending such disrespect to our honored dead and federal law.
2
@AdrianneJH A bunch of unnecessary stuff which could actually cost any newly married woman to not be able to vote...among other problems.
2
He wanted to be there. He brought his own campaign crew to film the visit for campaign use...in violation of federal law.
2
Not making illegal campaign ads for TikTok... Trump declined invitations to the same memorial for two years until it suited his campaign purposes.
1
Also, the fact that he brought campaign staff along to film the visit for campaign use in violation of federal law and that two of them got into an altercation with cemetary staff attempting to prevent such filming.
1
Most of those on the list they've been able to contact are citizens. The problem is Virginia's severely outdated method of checking. They don't cross reference their registry with the federal citizenship database like almost all other states do. They still use old dmv forms that may not have been updated when someone gained their citizenship.
1
It's a Fox channel...Tabloid news.
1
You do know that Trump and Vance did a co-interview right? Guess that makes Trump a little girl too. Good to know.
1
The Republicans are still far more pro-Israel so it won't matter. She also has the center vote which is ultimately what decides Presidential elections.
1
Or just enter the modern age and cross reference the voter registry with the federal citizenship database like nearly all other states do instead of using years old dmv forms that don't always get properly updated when someone gains their citizenship...and put a little more effort than just robo mailed notification into it. That's never been reliable for anything.
1
Same as they've been for eight years...MAGA.
1
@shaverlocal I'd call he and his campaign staff filming him walking randomly through section 60 of Arlington cemetary (without the family who invited him) then putting it into an official Trump campaign ad on TikTok after having been informed that filming campaign material in a national cemetary is against the law and getting into an altercation over it pretty disrespectful... He's also called our honored dead losers in the past and his insult to McCain was an insult to all soldiers as well, so... take your pick.
1
For the majority of this country's history, newspapers did the interviewing and no one thought twice about it. All that matters is getting the platform out. Anything else is just a dog and pony show for candidates with more charisma than substance.
1
Non-issue. The only thing that matters is getting the platform out. All else is just a dog and pony show for those with more charisma than substance.
1
He also praised Virginia's severely outdated law on how they confirm citizenship. Rather than cross reference their registry with the federal citizenship database like most states, they still use old dmv forms. The latter don't always get updated properly when someone gains their citizenship. Checking the database would avoid that problem...
1
Nope. It's the result of Trump chasing off the moderates and centrists of his own party. The center are quiet and easily overlooked, but they decide Presidential elections and his treatment of those of his party tells the entire center that he has no place for them in his vision of America. Much less the left. Thus, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" comes into play. Like it did last time as well.
1
It's already illegal for them to vote in all 50 states and nearly impossible for such a vote to slip through and actually get counted. This "save act" is so overdone that it could very easily cost a newly married woman her right to vote due to birth certificate issues etc. It's unnecessary and ridiculous.
1
That's the problem with him. There's no room in his vision of America for the center or the left. It's all his way or you get mocked and ridiculed like a second class citizen.
1
Trump and Vance did a co-interview. What's the problem here?
1
Bah, this is on Virginia for having severely outdated election laws and intentionally violating federal law.
1
@sandragiese8118 At this point it may have been better for him if it had been.
1
Grow up.
1
High sample rv polls also have Harris in the lead. Often by more.
1
Non-citizens already can't vote. There's no need for this "save act" and the restrictions it adds could easily end up costing Americans their right to vote.
1
@RobinDale50 Almost no votes by non-citizens get counted in our elections as it is. When you register your citizenship is checked. In states that let you vote without already being registered, your vote goes into the provisional ballots stack which is later checked to see if you were indeed eligible to be registered when you voted. If not, it gets tossed. Something like 0.0001% of the total vote is made up of non-citizen votes that slip through. It's not a problem. The current laws are fine. It's a non issue meant to fuel excuses for candidates who think they're going to lose.
1
Are so garbage that 538 finally decided to drop them due to their right wing bias and poor methodology.
1
@garymcmillan8084 Respectfully declining to allow family and friends to avoid the media hoopla that such a visit would bring during an election campaign...Trump didn't think or care about that. He just wanted his campaign photo-ops.
1
@MAGApintofwine Bringing all the hoopla of the media (and his own campaign staff to illegally film the visit for campaign use) to outshine the true purpose of the event with him. I'm sure the family and friends appreciated all the attention being given him instead of their honored dead...
1
@garymcmillan8084 I take it you haven't heard the details known so far... He was invited to lay a wreath on a soldiers grave by the family. That's fine. He and his campaign staff (without the family) went and made video of him wandering through section 60 randomly stopping at random graves etc. which they ultimately put into an official Trump campaign ad on TikTok. That's what they were confronted by cemetary staff for. Going off and using the cemetary to film campaign related video. They spent more time doing that than with the family who invited them. Then they had the nerve to get into it with the cemetary staff...in a graveyard...full of honored dead they intended to use for a TikTok ad... shameful. Better not to have gone at all than to go for that under the guise of being their for a family.
1
@81DaddyMac Shame on Trump. He brought a campaign crew to film the visit for campaign purposes in violation of federal law. Two of them even got into an altercation with cemetary staff who attempted to enforce that law.
1
Learn full story before speak you should...
1
For the same reason he brought campaign crew to film it for campaign purposes in violation of federal law. It was a campaign photo-op. Two of his crew even got into an altercation with cemetary staff who tried to enforce that law.
1
@garymcmillan8084 Respectfully declining so that the families and friends could avoid the media hoopla of such a visit during an election campaign. One of the candidates didn't care about that...
1
I'll bite troll...why not?
1
Not the court's job. Virginia was incompetent when it came to their handling of voter registration and violated federal law. The court can only legally rule on the violation.
1
It's the quiet center leaning vote. Trump's eight year war on his own moderates and centrists has come back to bite him. Just like it did last time.
1
Two heads are better than one. They each have areas they're better versed in than the other.
1
Not blue. Vote for the party that doesn't persecute the center. Which happens to be the Dems.
1
Trump alienated the center with his eight years of persecution and purging of the moderates and centrists of his own party. The center tends to remain relatively quieter than the extremes and are easily overlooked, but they ultimately decide Presidential elections. Harris's numbers are not that surprising with that in mind.
1
@kimmarquis2354 He and his campaign staff left the family who invited him and made video of him walking randomly through section 60 which they then went on to use in an official Trump campaign ad on TikTok. Shameful and indefensible.
