NATO member or not, this is likely the only major error Comrade Putin's going to make anytime soon and it's the perfect opportunity to remind him that Russia is not the Soviet Union and he is not the second coming of Stalin. If NATO folds yet again to one of his bluffs however, it won't be long before his current delusions become more of a reality. Then there will definitely be a world war. One that will be much more difficult for those opposing his actions to "win" than if they just nip it in the bud now while his position is weak.

  4. The truth. Russian Bolsheviks invaded and occupied Ukraine in 1919 forcing them to become part of the USSR against their will. Many decades later, they finally manage to gain back their independence only to have Russia put someone in power who thinks they're the second coming of Stalin and is hellbent on reforming the Soviet Union regardless of whether the now independent former nations once enslaved by the Soviet Union want to return or not (they don't.) That someone then invented a crisis in the Donbas region to destabilize the area and use as an excuse to invade later by sending in paid Russian mercs and supplies to bolster the otherwise insignificantly sized pro-Russia armed separatist groups making a nuisance of themselves to the other 95+% of the local population (who are/were decidely not interested in being ruled by Russia.) In doing so, Comrade Putin made his intentions to invade and enslave the Ukrainian people once again clear. Thus forcing Ukraine to seek defensive alliances with their other neighbors/the west in hopes of protecting themselves. Needless to say, Comrade Putin played a good hand and gave himself an excuse good enough to fool more people than it really should have into backing his unprovoked and illegal invasion of an internationally recognized sovereign nation. Despite the fact that just a little fact checking is all that's needed to reveal his "justifications" for the bullshit they are. In other words, What's going on is that a delusional despot bent on usurping whole nations against their will, made up a load of bull which enough fools fell for to give him the support he needed to attempt an illegal invasion of a neighboring country. Unfortunately for him, that particular country did not go as gently into that good night as he thought they would and now he has a very nasty problem on his hands with no good way out.

  5. We signed and agreement to defend Ukraine militarily should Russia ever invade in return for Ukraine giving up their nuclear weapons (their only reall deterrent to such an invasion.) Russia invaded...twice...and we have yet to honor our agreement. As badly as we've hung Ukraine out to dry, I don't blame him for not being all that grateful. The aid we've given is the least we can do.

  7. Like Iraq's neighbors did to Iraq you mean... The casualties and infrastructure damage caused during the fight to remove Saddam from power were quite low. It wasn't until their neighbors started sending in insurgents to destabilize them that things went bad. They claimed they were there to "help" and then proceded to assassinate Iraqi elected officials, blow up hospitals and utilities, and use the population as human shields.

That's just the idiot progressives being "progressive" and, like the Republicans, assuming that people are too stupid to understand the real issue. The laws are designed to make it nearly impossible for election workers in highly populated urban areas (the bluest areas) to do their jobs properly and accurately. The goal being that in a Republican loss, there will likely be enough problems with the rural vote to challenge it.

However, the only potential cause of death directly supported by the autopsy evidence was fentanyl overdose. That makes the convictions on the two murder charges unjust. People should only go to prison for crimes they commit.

Only a small percentage use this medium as a news source and only a small percentage of those actually bother with liking/disliking such videos. That's why he has access to areas that are off limits for the international press. Go ask him to reveal the sources of all of his crowd funding and other income. You'll find a great deal of it comes from Russian sources...

However, the new law contains fewer mandated dates during that time period and doesn't properly address how many places there will be or how the information concerning the locations and times will be made available to the public. Also, like the changes made by the Republican led state legislatures in other states, the Georgia changes are designed to make elections far more difficult to manage in highly populated urban areas (usually the bluest areas of a state) than in rural areas (usually the redest areas.) With all the seemingly harmless (and usually pointless) little regulations and deadlines stacked together, counts in urban areas will likely end up being rushed and inaccurate. Which is the goal of the changes. In the case of a Republican defeat, the odds will be good that there will be enough inaccuracies in the urban vote to challenge them. It's underhanded, dishonest, and downright juvenile. Even Georgia Republicans should be offended that their state representatives think them too stupid to notice the underlying objective of the changes.

  48.  @Zer0_Her0_94  Russia's annexation of Crimea is not internationally recognized. It's still considered a part of Ukraine. The incident occurred in the exclusive economic zone of that disputed region and at least ~150 km away from Russia's recognized EEZ.

  49. There are several "neutral" investigations of the war crime claims (which would include genocide) in progress. France has a team doing so as well as some international human rights orginizations. I don't suppose you could provide a link backing your claim that Russia proposed such an investigation and England (UK) vetoed it could you? I can't find anything even resembling such a situation.
