DOGE is 20 people, average age 22, with backgrounds in tech/AI (not a single auditor), who are just feeding data into an AI program and blindly following what it spits out. They couldn't even set up their website without leaving it wide open to hackers. Anyone who thinks this is a good idea is simply insane.

@Lifesstacksofpancakes No. But some actual competent auditors who will actually perform their jobs accurately, professionally, and efficiently... with proper background checks and oversight would be nice.

@yammytime4273 Oh, wow. I feel so much more assured... They haven't had time to do any proper analysis of anything... Also, they're original evidence on their site was links to daily mail articles...
50
The video is easily available as is his childish tantrum on Truth Social. Maybe do a little research for yourself.
32
Someone may have gotten scammed... or at least thought they did.
30
Ask yourself why Hegseth didn't mention it to the administration when appointed and why they didn't look hard enough into his past to find it before appointing him. Vanity Fair of all sources found it pretty easily, yet the administration had to find out from them.
21
@oldschoolzone5711 As far as we know...Maybe that's part of the reason the list hasn't been released. There's evidence available that shows the two remained friends well after Trump says they stopped.
16
SS convoy taking him to the club. Between the prep time for the game and making it to the 5th hole, there's plenty of time to go home and get prepared. It's not difficult to notice when Trump and entourage are in town and golf to Trump is like honey to pooh bear.
14
@JonAncel Not for cabinet members. Keeping secrets from the boss is not a good start for a Secretary of Defense especially.
13
The administration should still have known about it before Vanity Fair told them... Hegseth should have mentioned it to them if he's going to be a trusted advisor and leader of the military.
12
Still something you'd think a trusted advisor and leader of the military would mention to their boss before Vanity Fair broke the story.
11
@RiyoOffTheGrid Yes, it is. The weapons are different but the civilians still get screwed.
10
Probably let Musk's AI do the work...
9
And look at the quality of people in the administration he'd be working with.
9
They were here legally under an asylum program. When will you learn to think before you post?
8
Neither the suspect nor the SS had any chance of hitting anything at 500 yards.
8
They weren't just stockpiling, they were making them. You don't get large singular explosions capable of doing the damage done by the initial blast without bulk raw explosives being involved.
8
Either way, it's still something he should have informed them about/they should have found when vetting him for the appointment. If nothing else, it shows more holes in Trump's vetting process of those he endorses/surrounds himself with.
8
@jamescole3152 Most of our oil isn't refinable here. We're set up for heavy crude and that mainly comes from Canada and Mexico. We ship ours off to be refined. In other words, prices are going up and our refineries will be laying off workers.
7
Well, what's left in the rubble of an IDF bombed building can be a little difficult to identify. They don't exactly have access to advanced DNA testing after all.
7
It probably was Trump's Neville Chamberlain stance on Ukraine. A lot of people are concerned about the possibility of electing a President who would rather negotiate to sell out a friend than to stand up to a bully. Some Americans are foolish enough to try and fix the problem the...more direct way.
6
It's really something the administration should have found before appointing him. They only found out from Vanity Fair of all sources. Not a good look for Trump's vetting process.
6
So trusting... it'd be cute if it weren't so sad.
6
Pay is not required to resist a king in this country.
5
Trump just wants to escalate it as much as possible to draw attention away from his failure on the economic end of things.
5
The majority no longer support him.
4
Ai and facial recognition software. Probably took all of a couple of hours to scour their recent archives. Especially since Law Enforcement mentioned the possible Ukraine connection not long after capture allowing them to narrow down the search.
4
I swear, you put Trump in office, and all of a sudden, it's nothing but chaos everywhere...
4
Save their economy. That's what. Federal government doesn't care.
4
Gotta protect their economy. The federal government sure isn't going to.
4
We get a good bit of our fertilizer from Canada as well... food prices...
4
Or he should at least read bills rather than make stuff up about them online...
4
Neither will Trump. He's just going to concentrate it's swampiness for his and his buddies own benefit.
4
The company probably should have said "affected" instead of "impacted"
4
@MichaelWinsteadYT More than I trust a handful of tech bros some of who aren't even old enough to drink, with no oversight or accountability, and have already made a couple of major blunders.
4
Dude saw the convoy, went home and got his gun. Golf takes a while...It's pretty obvious when Trump comes to town.
4
@taxevasion0336 That and they also have pretty abysmal success rate even in optimal conditions. That's why one officer in that kind of situation has their gun out instead.
4
Good man. Maintained his integrity.
4
They will over the next four years...as the 💩show unfolds.
3
Poor diplomacy from the US and it's only friend.
3
What's funny is that Canada's dairy industry barely exports dairy anyway. It's designed to meet domestic needs without overproduction... Unlike our wasteful dairy industry.
3
The former yes. The latter, doubtful.
3
I'm sure the gold plated toilet will remain...
3
Because they've studied history and know what happens when you appease an aggressive dictator...
3
Well, he gets a shot to achieve an even lower rating this time...
3
Things are bad enough already. The last thing the world needs is to see his old saggy moobs...
3
@rshoe1023 We don't have the potash availability they do... Edit: The world of natural resources and economics is a lot more complicated than you or Trump think.
3
If you knew anything about DOGE, you'd understand.
3
By the time they get that thing up to the required specs for AF1, it will be time to ship it off to the museum... Very responsible spending there...
2
He could have requested that they make a donation to humanitarian relief in Gaza or something similar instead.
