Zelenskyy was polite, diplomatic, and respectful in his criticism of President Trump. Trump's response was an embarassing childish temper tantrum on social media... which of those two is atrocious?
121
That's because, short of the Civil War, this is the biggest threat we've faced. We've been relatively good/lucky enough to avoid outright coups attempts in the past.
29
When you can't prove anything specific, irregularities is all you can say.
23
Harsh answer...Because single digit polling this late in the cycle means he isn't relevant.
18
Everything other than the handful of Fox News highlights was a complete dumpster fire for him. He never has learned how to control his temper or when to stop talking...
17
@loricondon2561 Except it's already been revealed that he put his retirement paperwork in months before the deployment order came down...try again.
16
And Trump would have been impeached the first time avoiding all of this mess...
16
We currently have no such Justices sitting so your point is a bit moot.
14
And rightfully so. These suits and the earlier ones they dismissed are complete garbage. To legitimize them by hearing them would set a precedent allowing future elections to be ground to a halt simply by spamming lawsuits without the need for any factual basis to support them.
14
Gotta love the comment section... It takes a special kind of stupid to condemn someone sworn to uphold the Constitution for refusing to break that oath when asked to do so by the President...
14
Indeed. She only interprets the law and sets precedent as to it's actual meaning...
13
I guess this is his way of saying he isn't going to run for President...
12
@L T If you want to go the legal route, then they have to address their being contacted via phone by the White House prior to their wanting to rescind their vote. That's a pretty big no no.
10
@dannywilliams6643 Those were state matters. If you have a problem with how they were handled then speak with the governors etc. of those areas. When idiots storm our capitol building in a violent attempt to prevent our country's government from doing their constitutional duty, that's a national matter which should be investigated thoroughly and prosecuted if necessary to discourage future such actions. To be against such investigation is simply un-American.

Unless he held a gun to the President's head and forced him to violate his oath of office numerous times (which I doubt the Secret Service would allow), Biden has nothing to do with the President's impeachment. Trump's own arrogance and delusional mind are solely to blame for his troubles.
9
Attacking one's allies and biggest trading partners for pointless self aggrandizing reasons rarely goes well... just wait til not only Mexico and Canada, but the EU as well counter tariffs our goods and the layoffs start...
8
It's the missile defense equivalent of the French Maginot Line from WWII...Research the cost and manufacture time of it's missiles and that of most of the rockets being spammed from Gaza and you should eventually see the fatal flaw of the system.
8
They were never intended to work for "the people." They are a court of law, not public opinion.
7
They aren't.
7
Everyone (including all of the dipshit AGs who supported it) knew from the start that the Texas suit had no legal grounds and would be tossed. The Pa suit was the strongest Trump had and it didn't even come close to warrant SCOTUS picking it up.
7
Like all of Trump's executive orders so far, it was poorly written and thus led to much confusion. Miller's only mad because he writes most of the orders so anything wrong with them hurts his fragile little ego.
7
Personally, I'd rather Americans exercise better judgement than he did that night. He should never have gone there to begin with and especially not in the capacity of an armed security guard. His decision to go it alone rather than team up with one of the other "guards" once there was also foolish. Even a 17 year old should know better than to put themselves in such a position. That said, he did handle himself well afterwards. His parents should be proud of him for that but not for his decision to get involved in the first place.
7
There comes a point when even biased sources like Fox can no longer in good conscience maintain their support of certain aspects of their chosen side.
7
Fox survives mostly on Trump's personality cult and their love for Tucker and Hannity. Airing anything that would challenge their narrative would be suicidal.
6
A better question would be why do people who have clearly never read the Constitution keep making claims such as yours?
6
They don't want someone who has written articles supporting basing legal decisions on religious beliefs. I as a moderate don't either.
6
They've investigated the claims that had at least some foundation in reality. It's not their job to be glorified fishing poles for a President who can't accept being legitimately defeated.
5
The impeachments didn't fail. Both more than made their case. The Senate Republicans simply decided to vote the party line rather than their consciences.
5
@stonecold7919 Bill Clinton's biological father served in the army and Hillary's father the navy during World War II. Edit: Also, Obama's maternal grandfather served in the US army air forces during WW II. Edit: The closest a Trump ever came to doing so was when Donnie dodged the Vietnam draft.
5
Nah, it's a single triangular object (probably a drone of some sort) viewed through some kind of laser range gate imaging system being tested. The other two are just backscattered images of the same object. That's why the actaul paper report is classified while the video wasn't. The latter is such poor quality that there's really no important information about the system that can be gleaned by seeing it.
5
A better angle would be the attempt at tampering by the White House calling the two.
5
They gave him more total speaking time. He tried to turn it into one of his rallies rather than a Presidential debate and it was their job to rein it in. They cut off both candidates many times. The difference was that Harris stopped talking and he didn't. Also, when asked simple yes or no questions and younl refuse to answer and just start repeating the same rhetoric you've already said three times, you're not debating. You're evading. There's no point to a moderator allowing such nonsense with limited time.
5
Go watch the full thing instead of Fox highlights and you'll change your mind...
5
Trump made an 🫏 of himself. So did Vance. It was embarassing.
5
@dalegehrking2862 Which isn't watched by nearly as many of the general public as their general "news." Tucker and Hannity didn't have the balls to show it and what bits they have addressed were heavily edited and out of context. Fox has become completely un-American. There's a reason they've been hemoraging employees over the last few years. Some people like to be able to look in the mirror in the morning and actually respect what they see.
5
Agreed. As long as they meet the requirements to be on a state's ballot as laid out in that state's constitution, they should be on the ballot. If there is any question of disqualification under section 3 of the 14th Amendment, that should be addressed at the federal level by the US Congress (most likely as grounds to challenge states' electoral college votes during the count) and, if necessary, appealed to SCOTUS to interpret the law and determine if Congress's use of it is constitutional.
5
Some people need money and Fox is paying...
5
If God backs Israel, he deserves to be mocked for his poor judge of character.
5
No one's ever told him he needs to actually do that. They think their "rallies" represent a much greater percentage of the voter pool than they actually do. His campaign did the same thing last time, and it's one of the main reasons they lost. You've got to pull the independent/moderate vote, and they're usually the level-headed ones who expect an actual plan...
5
Licking boots...
5
1/20/29 maybe...
5
At least their party is still allowed freedom of thought and opinion... just saying.
5
Cuts to SSI staff will means slowdowns and higher inaccuracy (especially if they implement Musk's garbage AI to handle things.) They don't have to directly cut it to cut it... just saying.
5
He's just saying what every legitimate economist in the world is saying...
5
@scottvincent3062 He was definitely scamming. The differences between his high ball estimates and low ball estimates were ridiculously huge. He got greedy and he got caught. Now he has to pay for it.
5
@mattmills5145 You don't do one right before an election or a run off. You do them during the offseason. Anytime you try to run one through quickly like this, it smells funny.
5
We did. We just have a spoiled brat in the White House who can't stand losing.
5
She's a Trump endorsee and has seen what happened with Oz when he ignored Trump's orders to declare victory even when it's obvious you're going to lose. No one wants to be the target of one of Trump's mania induced tirades as such could essentially mean the end of their political career.
5
The full bill can be found online with a little effort. It's a little under 600 pages but it can be skimmed rather quickly since a lot of the length is due to legalese.
4
@jumpieva You forget that Trump lost the popular vote...
