If Biden's guilty then anyone who so much as hit a joint or consumed alcohol underage in high school/college then went on to answer "no" to the same question, are as well...

@johnf3442 The grammar's too accurate and it's not capslocked. Definitely didn't come from Trump.
2
Too bad, such sentiment is entirely lost on Trump. He's only tolerating him for the ~1% of the vote he'll get from the few supporters he had who care who he endorses.
2
@andrerichards7808 His pocketbook loves us. We keep it well fed.
2
@Suzy Ortolani There's a big difference between postponing dealings until after an election and using the office of President to coerce a foreign power into investigating a potential opponent in an upcoming Presidential race. The latter is expressly forbidden by law while the former is simply political wisdom.
2
That's a good point. It's technically possible in my state (never been tested) so I never thought to check for Michigan. Essentially this is all just a whole lot of nothing...much like the future of these representatives' careers.
2
The prices at the pump are artificially higher than the actual supply and barrel price would dictate. High volume speculation (often via bot) is the real culprit. Even before Covid hit, prices were being significantly affected by it. Get a commission going to take a deep look into such trading, enforce/legislate regulations to clean it up, and prices will drop significantly. Even with all of the environmental legislation and Ukraine war, there's no reason for it to be much over ~$4.00 per gallon.

Correction: He promised to weaponize it against his detractors and has already done so. That's why so many attorneys have resigned on moral and ethical grounds.
2
@leilamiller8201 They weren't. They spent the day delivering then returned to the warehouse to help unload and sort supplies for future deliveries. They were attacked on their way back to their housing afterwards. The IDF had been informed that their convoy was heading to said housing but fired on them anyway.

I find it dificult to label anyone at Fox as smart, but Tucker definitely has a better grip on reality than most of his coworkers...
2
We still back them financially/militarily/politically as part of an "unspoken" agreement where, by doing so, Israel agrees not to resort to using their nuclear weapons when hostilities come along.

Someone just forgot to tell Trump that it's generally a bad idea for a Presidential candidate to tell their supporters not to vote... His campaign's decision to actively discourage mail in voting is what caused all of this. It lost him a lot of easy votes from right leaning moderates/fence sitters who might have bothered to mail in a ballot but weren't interested enough to vote in person. Biden's campaign however, picked up those votes from their left leaning counterparts giving him a slight advantage. On top of that, it fully explains the odd behavior of the vote count (with no need for silly conspiracy theories.) It caused the in person vote to be skewed toward Trump and the mail in vote toward Biden. In the swing states that could do little or no early counting of mail in votes, the in person vote was tallied first. Being skewed toward Trump that made it look like he had a strong lead. However, once that was tallied and it moved to the mail in vote (skewed toward Biden), Trump's percentages could only fall and Biden's rise from then on. From there, it was just matter of whether Trump's exaggerated early leads could survive the mail in surge. Thanks to the aforementioned votes Trump threw away and the votes Biden gained, they couldn't. So slowly but surely, Biden overtook them. The end.

@Gone_Gaming0 When it comes to illegal market manipulation and insider trading, Trump makes these kiddies look like complete amateurs.
2
That only applies to the $5M punitive damages. Edit: The $10M for compensatory damages is not reduced.
2
He lost the popular vote making him nothing more than the GOP's little bitch (and they don't like him much so you can be assured that his leash will be tight...) The last I checked his website, he's already dropped almost all of his campaign promises because the GOP leaders pointed out that many were childish and unrealistic. I understand why you hate Clinton but I'll never understand what you see in this charlatan...unless it's just desperation...This entire election had both sides behaving like pathetic little children...There's nothing to celebrate...unless you enjoy embarrassing the country...

People fall for your bs everyday Tucker. Is it really that surprising that they'd fall for Smollet's?

At least it's a proposal. Trump won't touch the issue since he made his living via real estate scamming.
1
@InumanNa Trump's background is in real estate scamming. He won't touch the housing issue with a ten foot pole. Unless he decides to make it even worse perhaps. My area now has a ridiculous amount of full time hard working people living in tents and cars because corporations have been buying up all forms of housing in the area and then gouging the prices well beyond legitimate markup for inflation and other legitimate costs plus a reasonable profit. The only way many of the aforementioned people can put any significant money back each month is to essentially be homeless...and the cops harass them all constantly. Employers have started to allow them to stay in their parking lots for safety...from law enforcement. It's ridiculousness for the sake of greed and somethings going to have to give or the economy will crash. People can't buy anything if everything's going towards the roof over their heads or they have nowhere to put it.

@cheesys8706 Link said report.

In all fairness, that's one of the parts of the Constitution that wasn't very well worked out. Especially since they decided to not enforce it for the original inspiration behind it.
1
I don't think extorting the government of a country we're supposed to be helping into assisting in your re-election campaign counts as a fair and balanced deal...
1
I take it you failed US Government and have never bothered to educate yourself on the subject either... You're going to get a nasty surprise once the investigation is complete and the indictments come.
1
Certain members of SCOTUS have been asking for it for awhile now and have known that it would eventually come (or at least should have if they're smart enough to be on the bench.) Unlike the rest of our government, it's nearly impossible to hold rogue justices accountable for their actions and behavior. If they'd police themselves better and do their jobs properly, they'd have nothing to worry about. Besides, that so called assassination attempt was obviously staged. Not even a braindead progressive would take a taxi loaded for bear like that and then admit everything immediately when questioned.
1
If you like the smell of bullsh*t I guess...
1
Said addresses were never hard to find. Besides, the Justices are public servants and need some method for the public to hold them accountable for their actions.

Quit copy pasting your garbage on every Fox comment section...or at least sell completely out and get paid to be a bot.
1
Jim needs to explain what business the legislative branch has in trying to interfere in an active criminal prosecution at the state level.
1
@zaegomez26 The majority at least leans left and Trump has made no effort whatsoever to attract the interest of left leaning independents and moderates. He hasn't even paid any mind to the centrist vote. All of which combined cost him the election last time because he ignored them.

They're wrong. If nothing else, bans on abortion (at least before viability) violate the 13th amendment's prohibition of involuntary servitude (one can't be forced or coerced to do work against one's will for the benefit of others.) In the hundreds if not thousands of cases where one party sought to prevent a woman from having an abortion, the courts have consistently (and at many different levels) held that the woman gets the final say because she's the one who will have to do the work of carrying and giving birth. If the courts consider it work, then the 13th amendment prohibits forcing women to do it against their will (which is essentially what an abortion ban does.) If the 13th amendment applies, the 10th amendment doesn't. Thus SCOTUS has no constitutional grounds to send the decision to the states.
1
@aaronsmith6603 I'm all for state rights. The problem with this ruling is that the 13th amendment's prohibition of involuntary servitude would be violated by an abortion ban. The courts have consistently considered carrying and giving birth to be "work" in hundreds if not thousands of decisions at many levels. If it's work, then the 13th amendment prohibits forcing women to do it against their will. Bans on abortion would essentially force women to carry and give birth against their will. With the 13th amendment applying, the 10th can't. Thus, it isn't a state issue.

@hanshansen3885 All while having the 6th lowest population density (and only a dozen or so cities with populations greater than 10,000) no less. Also, when you compare the percentage of total US covid deaths with the percentage of the total population SD accounts for, they end up with ~37% more than their fair share of covid deaths (edit: ~0.37% of total US covid deaths but only ~0.27% of the total population.)
1
They offered factory space only. The workers needed to retool and the operate the plant would be Cuomo's responsibility. As he has no authority to conscript labor, he would have to rely on volunteers (many of whom would need to be skilled.) President Trump however could use his powers and essentially force Remington Arms to retool and do the manufacturing themselves. That would be a far more productive approach.
1
You thought wrong.
1
He all but said in the debate (by unnecessarily mentioning the fact that Putin had nukes) that he feared Putin and thus resigned himself to bargaining from a position of weakness. This is what you voted for.
1
A government pressing a particular religion on the people by law is the legal equivalent of establishing a religion. Try again.
1
No distraction is necessary. When a child pitches a hissy fit, you can either spank them or ignore them. Despite Trump desperately needing a good spanking, the secret service wouldn't take too kindly to that so we ignore him instead.
1
At least it keeps things interesting.

Of course the inquiry hasn't proven anything, that's not it's job (the Senate trial is where proving comes into play). What it has done is gather more than enough testimony and evidence to make a case for bribery. With the Republicans on the committee having to resort to demanding that people not relevant to the procedings be called to testify rather than effectively build any real defense of the President's actions with their questioning of the witnesses, I'd say a pretty strong case at that. It won't really matter though as The President will likely survive the Senate trial due to jury nullification (Senate Republicans up for re-election will likely vote their career rather than their consience.) That will come at the cost of any political pull he still has though, so at least some good will come of it.
1
Given Putin's propensity for throwing people out of windows if they disagree with him and paranoia that would rival that of his Idol Stalin, his definition of "threatened" is likely going to be quite broad. It's mostly moot anyway however, since the vast majority of his nukes are not going to be functional (thanks to poor maintenance due to grift) while those of the weat will all function properly. Thus, his launching would probably cause some annoyances for the west but it would come at the cost of Russia ceasing to exist after the counterstrike.
1
Over our history, there have been plenty of instances where one party's Presidential candidate was so pathetic that their voters jumped ship but still voted for their Congressional candidates.
1
Nah. They're likely wishing that more Americans would bother reading the Constitution and learning how our government works before bitching about the actions of the court...
1
There's a bit more to the world than just Russia and China... Though It is amusing that Trumpists have been complaining that Biden was in China's pocket and are now complaining because he isn't. At least the concern over Russia is to be expected. After all, Trump was a dutiful wife to Putin for four plus years. It's only natural That Trump's personality cult would see Putin as a father figure...
1
Going by articles she's written, she's not big on the separation of church and state bit of the constitution.
1
Impeachments are one of the resposibilities of the legislative branch so I'm not seeing how their doing their jobs is anti-democratic. Now withholding aid which has been approved by elected representatives from an ally solely for personal gain...that's undemocratic.
1
@FishHeadBiologist The Republicans will be able to call all the relevant witnesses they want at the trial. Assuming the Republican led Senate bothers having said trial (they aren't constitutionally bound to do so.) If the Republicans in the house have a problem with how inquiry was conducted, they can simply vote against the articles of impeachment when the bill is introduced.
1
guatito1 I wouldn't call him a double agent. He's not qualified. Pawn would be more accurate.
1
They can't. The Bidens have no relevance to the case. This is about the President's actions not theirs.
1
@doesthisfacemakemelooklike535 I would suggest that you look a little deeper into the so called confession tape of Biden. There's a great deal of the story the hacks at Fox are conviently leaving out to fit their narative. One key point being that there was pressure on the Ukrainian government to remove that prosecutor from multiple countries (and the Ukrainian people themselves) before Hunter Biden even joined Burisma. Said prosecutor was draging his feet when it came to investigating members of the prior Russia friendly regime for corruption and had some conflicts of interest when it came to that regime. That aside, whether or not the Bidens are guilty of some crime has nothing to do with the case against Trump. By precedent concerning the definition of bribery as it pertains to the impeachment clause of the Constitution, Trump solicited a bribe. His original witholding of aid likely violated the Impoundment Control Act as well. On top of that, he further abused the power of his office in order to impede the investigation of his actions. The Bidens played no role in any of that and thus there's no reason to call them as witnesses.
