It will be appealed and remain on the books just like the magazine ban that was ruled unconstitutional as well yet remains.

But I am told by your socialists Europe is a utopia with no crime specifically because you all have so much "progressive" gun control. How can that be? 😂

Apparently it is okay when the Democrats do it like selling 20% of our uranium supply through Uranium One or lifting a sanction on a Russian pipeline or getting bribed by the mayor of Moscow's wife.

Italy had several SMG's in WW2 made well that were excellent. Beretta M1918/30 and M38 FNAB-43 TZ-45 Armaguerra OG-43 and 44. Honestly in WW2 every country that participated fielded a decent subgun.

@paddington1670 Imagine being a bootlicker that protects criminals. No wonder nobody takes Canada seriously.

The AK is a labor intensive rifle. Labor is expensive in America. The cost of quality parts and assembly put this rifle above what the vast majority of gun owners want to pay for an AK hence all the cost cutting stateside to match the AK stigma price. Even then the (first) Cold War has been over for almost 30 years and many NOS is gone therefore leaving only new production to fill the void. Heck even in Poland AK's now go for routinely $1,000+ so it isn't just an American phenomenon either.
23
Then why haven't they shipped us Makarovs and Dragunovs? That's right they don't screw with American gun sanctions and never will. The last time they even innocently tried through Molot they got effed.
20
@DirtyGuerrilla Having fun with your buddies in Seattle?
20
Democrat privilege. They get away with everything since they are the establishment. Rules for us but not for them.
13
@hansgruber9685 Not really. The steel cased pistol ammo kept the market in check. Not anymore.
12
So has every president since Reagan with gun rights.
10
Everyone is fucked on this even the AR fudds. Lots of them shot Russian .223 and 9mm. for cheap, now it is bye bye!!
9
Except the Eastern Euros can't. They can't even keep up with the AK supply which is why AK's have only gone up in price since the Obama ban. Wishful thinking. Even then only Romania makes steel cased ammo (the Hungarian zinc ammo is sourced from Russia thus banned) the rest of the Warsaw Pact and former Yugoslavia is brass only now same with all the other non-Russian manufacturers which means permanent expensive ammo. $$$$

A never-ending sunset on impossible to fulfill demands that Russia will never kowtow to.
7
They should focus their energy on those traitors in government that have forsaken us and used us while making us the laughing stock of the world.

There is also a third and often forgotten type of machine gun type in U.S. law, pre-86 dealer samples (i.e. legally imported machine guns) since the GCA '68 banned the further importation of machine guns. These are exclusively owned by dealers since the law forbids any civilian from owning an imported machine gun unless of course it was imported as a semi-auto then converted later. Of course if you lose your FFL you have to sell them since they can only be owned by dealers. A sort of good ol' boy club legalized by the government. These can be had without requiring a SOT but of course you are limited to pre-86 machine guns as well but at least the prices are a little lower. Not as bad as a transferrable but not as good as post-86 samples.

This is more like the really good knock-off of Rolex that can fool experts. The SIG-556 was an American market exclusive and cheapened to make it affordable to gun buyers compared to paying $3K plus for a Swiss original. SIG had many QC issues with these during the Obama panic buying spree of '09-'10 so I would be extremely wary of those made during then. I got lucky on mine being a 2013 model that was perfect out of the box with none of the issues most people had with them. While mine is fantastic one can only imagine how much better the real deals feel and why they go for so much more money. Looking at them side by side the Swiss originals can't be beat.

None of those countries can keep pace with the Russians nor charge as cheaply as they can. Pie in the sky thinking.
6
@manganvbg90 Then you don't know geography. Kazakhstan is landlocked and surrounded by countries hostile to the United States- Russia, China, Iran, and AFGHANISTAN! The only way ammo would come out if it were allowed to be imported is through the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan, Georgia, then Turkey. Imagine all the tariffs and tolls that have to be paid then passed on to you, the consumer to purchase.
6
@Pajdas610 Cheap Chinese SKS's and Russian SKS's are banned from further importation so we are stuck with whatever is left in the Balkans. However a few years ago we did get a batch of Chinese military surplus SKS's from Albania since our retarded import laws go by if a certain sanctioned item is in a neutral country for at least five years it now becomes property of the neutral country thus can be imported.
4
Well you picked the worse time to get in to AK's when they go for $1000+ now.

+The Mosin Nagant Channel +Julian Silva I come from the FUTURE!! DDI went kaput and made terrible rifles too!!
3
@YourLocalMemeAndAnimeDealer To make money just like any one else. Why does America make Russian calibers?
3
They have to go down.
3
@feoffle Most of Europe was neutral too and didn't want to get involved in Germany/Britain/France's affairs but that didn't stop Germany from invading them anyway. Argument invalidated.
3
My two loves combined, guns and trains.
3
When the Wall Street/Atlantic Conference/Global Cabal is defeated. Good luck with that ever happening in our lifetime since they will just steal elections and they will get away with it.
3
@garrisyounguns6116 Just like the Soviets with their AK's and British with their Enfields.
3
I come from 2018. They are still making shit.
2
Maybe you need to do more research then: 1. Upper and lower receiver 2. Left hand side bolt release 3. 5.56 caliber 4. Push button mag release (AR mag lower) 5. Takes AR mags (AR mag lower) 6. Sealed upper receiver 7. Thumb safety 8. Similar style lower trigger guard

@dontaskpl bestgore

@NikoBellaKhouf2 Except the Taliban support gun control which is why they are telling everyone to turn in their guns or else, the right doesn't. You leftards love to bash and hate Christianity just like the Taliban so every finger you point at us I could point two right back, hypocrite.
2
The M2 was designed that way, the AK wasn't. Every new iteration of the AK coming out of Russia was for saving weight and reducing costs. They casted other areas on the gun but guess which areas remained forged? Front trunnion and bolt. That should tell you something....
2
@sowianskizonierz2693 Maybe in your country they are $5000 but in America AR's are dirt cheap. You can build them here for less than $1000. That and there are tons of companies making them so naturally they will be cheaper here because we invented it and we don't pay tariffs and insane shipping prices like you all do to ship them over there. Same reason why AK's are dirt cheap in your part of the world but are expensive here. Basic econ 101 and economy of scale.

@Tadicuslegion78 Joe Biden voted for the war to begin with. Not someone I would be defending.

So many missed REAL hybrids.... Galil ACE M10x XCR FNC AR-70
2
WASR. Cheapest yet quality option based on AKM that is the most standardized if you want to customize it in the future.
2
Just replace the garbage furniture on it and you will be good to go.
2
@Clovser And yet the rioting commies openly carried their firearms and shot at Rittenhouse first yet you say nothing about them. Hypocrite much??
2
@YourDadsMyBottom If they import them they are fine. If they build them stay the hell away.
2
@theman4884 In blue states, by blue governors, turning down all help from Trump, putting sick people in old folks home not following CDC protocols, calling Trump a racist after he banned travel from China, which you libtards then turn around blaming Trump for not stopping soon enough. Imagine being this stupid and gullible.
2
mike rusch 7.62x39 has been common as dirt since the 80's. Hasn't been exotic for decades.
2
Actually you can in MD as long as it isn't a 7.62x39 non-sporting rifle.

+The AK Guy Yep. We are perpetually stuck in 2014 when it comes to the AK thanks to the ban unless Molot comes up with something revolutionary which I doubt since they are known more for machineguns than rifles plus KC would sue them up the ass if they even tried. All we will be stuck with are cheap, gimmicky trinkets from now on. The Galil ACE is the best we can hope for in a new AK format.

Yes we should just let commies destroy our homes when the so-called "government" that you all think are the solution to all of our problems doesn't do its job because it is ran by cowards/sympathizers Great logic. Blame the people of Kenosha for refusing to take out the trash and having to rely on a 17 year old boy to do it. Sad.
1
Quality depends on who they are exporting to. When they exported to America they cared about quality and pretended to be humble hence why they have a good reputation here plus the ban factor making them more desirable. Now China throws its weight around and everyone who has any experience with Chinese AK's made currently says they are complete garbage especially since the Chinese military ditched the Type 56 decades ago.

Communists are the second biggest killers in history next to Islam. I would say their demonization is well- justified. Not only that there are still communist regimes around the world today and they are openly praised by the left. The media does nothing to denounce them. However I bet you would be the first to cheer about "muh Nazis" being killed in a movie yet they haven't been relevant since the 40's and killed way less than communists ever did.
1
@chrisc2920 There is but it is all brass cased and expensive that costs as much as premium domestic ammo which from a pure shooter's point of view doesn't make sense when there are domestic calibers that surpass the Russian calibers price per performance. The steel-cased ammo at least offset the disadvantage. This is coming from a lifelong combloc fan but also gauging your average shooter, not collector or combloc fanboy where we are the minority, the vast majority of gun owners are basic bitch AR/Glock only. The problem isn't that we can't make it, the problem is the cost ($$) where it is on par if not more expensive than domestic calibers that offer better overall performance which will turn off the average gun owner.
