Who started with propaganda years ago...who is feeding the people with anti-west propaganda since long time? It is Putin and his gang. Western country were not even interested in this story - it was just about doing business, buying natural ressources from Russia for good money; in the eyes of the West Russia was not a threat any more. Russia made itself a threat - so you cannot calll Russia the victim now. NATO was a dead organization; nearly no country fulfilled their limits for cash in; most countries did not see any reason for spending money on military...there were bigger challenges in life. The attack/invasion of a sovereign state based on these nazi, bio-lab, we-must-attack-first-because-they-planned-to-attack-us LIES was one of the biggest mistakes in history. Putin thought he can take Ukraine ia a week... the country which is not yet in NATO. He planned the invasion for many many years. Russian propaganda says they want to liberate...but big surprise they are fighting against the occupant instead of being happy to be liberated. Some common sense please. And It was a a big revitalisation of NATO, more united and bigger than ever. Don´t make others responsible for the situation. Russian Rulers have chosen the path and the people partly agree and partly not. Some are brainwashed by Russian State TV playing 24/7 nonsense, some are just warmongers, some are dumb and others are too afraid of speaking out, because Russia became a police state...a wrong word and they come after you. I am afraid that the war will go on for a long time, because Putin cannot step back without losing his power and Ukraine is defending their land. The dying will go on...both sides

Vietman, Irak etc I do not think they can repeat something like that any more. This is one of the big miscalutations of Putin and his gang. It is all so visible...young generation in Russia has access to different sources. They know exactly what is going on. It is not like decades ago where you can tell your people all kind of lies and they more or less have to believe because there is no different source. An organization that had fallen asleep. Every country was busy with itself. Most countries have cut their military budgets to the minimum. He has had absolute power for 20 years. yes, The West is getting closer, he almost lost Belarus; he just managed to prevent that. People want to improve their standard of living and they do, see Poland, Baltic countries, Romania etc - they are all better off in the EU, in peace and partnership with the West. Putin could not bear this, became more and more bitter. He wanted to immortalize himself in the history books. Crimea was so easy to take, sending mercenaries to Donbas was so easy...he thought it would go on; that he could steal even more. In his opinion Nato and the whole West is weak, nobody can do without his Russian gas and oil. But he was very wrong and now he can't go back. He continues until the end...what that looks like is not foreseeable. In the meantime, people are suffering, especially the young generation. It becomes again conditions like in times of the cold war. Small children are brought up to be good soldiers. Propaganda runs all day on television - East against West etc. It is so sad

You are killing people, but you say you want to liberate them. Obviously they don't want you to liberate them, because they dont want to become a vasall state like Belarus.
