My favorite house so far!!! 😍. The entrance room was my favorite part of this house. It always gives me great comfort and pleasure when a house stays in the same family over many generations ❤️ ♥️ 💕 💙 💖

Interesting home 🏡

Beautiful house, I'd like to think the inside is just as beautiful as well. Thank you again for your most interesting videos

There is nothing wrong with living modestly and humbly before God. It's much better than being greedy for more and more money!
3
Beautiful chateau and gardens. Not fond of the clothed mannequins, which cluttered the rooms, and also adultery. The video was a little bit too fast for me to keep up with, but still very interesting. Thank you
3
One of the most beautiful houses that I have ever seen 😍 ❤️
3
The house was beautiful, but too big to be practical in the long run.
3
Another absolutely beautiful manor!!! I have always enjoyed your videos. Thank you again! 😊

What a absolutely beautiful manor and gardens. I had an English father, who passed on his love of good architecture, art, music and beautiful beaches. I would quite happily live in this manor if it was possible to do so. I especially loved the playhouse, as I have a love of doll houses, and smaller versions of a playhouse. Thank you again. 😊

This house is enormous, especially the entrance hall 😳😳😳

I am so pleased that you, your partner, and your cats are very happy in your new home, even though it will require a lot of money and work to restore back to its original plan and design wherever possible. My main piece of advice is please take your time and think very carefully about everything that you want to do and how you plan to achieve your goals. Any restorations and renovations tend to end up being more difficult and expensive and also take longer than expected. Patience and lots of it will be greatly needed. Just do what you can realistically. And then take it from there if possible. I presume that this house is structurally sound? I'd much prefer that over anything else quite frankly. But well done indeed for your decision 👏. By the way, I love your cats stealing the show 😀😂😂!!!

The lies that people speak in order to make more money, plus gain fame!!! I am so very angry about what the new owners did to the memory of Sarah Winchester and her staff. I am also opposed to occultism and related practices. I am very grateful for your telling us the full truth. Thank you 😊
2
Well done indeed! I am very pleased with how you made the rooms come alive 😀 😊 😄!!! Excellent work I'd have to say 😀 😊 😄!!!

Mr John Stokes was a very selfish and prideful man, tragic story 😢
2
I totally agree with you 💯

It has been said that the love of money is the root cause of all kinds of evil. From the Bible actually. I'm saddened that Albert's parents did not teach him that. 😤
2
Two words: absolutely gobsmacked!!!! 💯
2
The most beautiful modern house ever. My father would have been absolutely delighted with this house! I love its warm atmosphere, practicality, and simplicity. And the multiple porches making it easy to enjoy and interact with the natural environment. Love this house!!!

I have to be honest, and say that this particular place was not one of my favorite places, too big, and too elaborate. I could have fitted at least forty families into that house easily
2
I saw this particular house owned by Mark Twain and his wife, in a series of photos on Pinterest, and I found them very interesting and fascinating to look at. This video taught me a lot about Mark Twain and his wife, and the house that they lived in. Thank you again. 😊

Thank you for yet another interesting video. I hope you get better sooner rather than later, after the car accident, now that gave me a shock 😲!! I understand completely what it is like to be involved in a car accident, very difficult to cope with at the time. Thank you again. 😊 😊

The size of the swimming pool caused my jaw to drop! My that pool was humongous! I'd have to say that Randolph Hearst really out did himself in being absolutely ostentatious and over the top 😳 🤔 🙄

Beautiful house!

Very interesting

Very beautiful house, designed to be family-friendly! 😊

At the risk of being shot at, I would say that a house, or a mansion, is just that, a house, or a mansion. It's the people who live in it, that makes it a 🏡.
2
Good well constructed home, which was designed to last many years.
2
Very interesting mansion, with a very varied history.

Museum? A place where history, and architecture is taught by experts to students? A film set using miniature cameras? A place for displaying antique clothing? Just a few options for consideration for the leaders of Sacramento!

Simple and clean architecture!!! The gardens are very nice and expansive

Gorgeous home! ❤

I personally prefer the gardens rather than the over elaborate inside of the house quite frankly. Thank you again for yet another excellent video. 👏 😊
1
Very interesting and educational video. I never knew that this man existed. But even so, I am very impressed with his great architectural style. 😊
1
I understood everything you said. I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I thought this house was very much a classic example of near perfect preservation of eighteenth century style house interiors and gardens. The entrance hall was my favorite part of the house, with the dining room a close second. If the walls could speak, the tales they would tell! 😮

A very interesting and educational video about a man that I never had known about. I found this video to expand my knowledge of American history. Thank you for sharing this with us. 😊

What is wrong with good quality work, I ask? It's a great pity that the developer couldn't see that, and try to save most, if not all of the beautiful woodworks, and other things. The new building is very nice but boring 😴 😑 😒
1
What an awful building! 😖 I am so not surprised that it finally collapsed, and also became a hazard for the local community. One of those things best forgotten about. Thank you again!
1
I much preferred the first house, it looked like a real house designed for family and friends. The second house was very much over the top and designed to be a showpiece - not my favorite.

Fascinating and educational video regarding Missourian history. Thank you for your excellent work 👏 👍 😀 🙌 😊

This particular video reminded me of what happened with the Auckland City Art gallery in the 1990s. The Mayor at the time, Dick Hubbard, wanted to enlarge the original building which had been built in the French chateau style. Lovely building it was too. But the new extension was very much a modern glass, concrete and steel building. It caused a huge amount of controversy, with the opposition trying to get as many people to stop this extension from being built. I personally opposed it as well. But somehow the building extension was built. The new building has taken a lot of the beauty of the old building away, and also the new Cafe is still badly built and too small again! I have not been there for a few years. Don't wish to go back as well. So I do understand completely why many people have complained about this particular mansion being extended in such a careless and haphazard way. Enough said. Thank you.

One of my more favored house, with a beautiful staircase, and rooms. However marble is not a good material to use, as it can be a very cold, and slippery stone, both to look at, and to touch. Houses with marble in them tend to be very cold. Enough said.
1
I personally prefer the older houses, than the modern skyscrapers that now exist in New York. But I would have converted these mansions into carefully made apartments for more affordable housing. Just my educated opinion. 😌
1
One of my favorite places, and the inside rooms are very nicely done. I am very pleased that it's owned by a Christian ministry today 😀
1
A beautiful house with beautiful gardens!!! The staircase was beautifully designed and gracious to behold.
1
This house was designed to be people friendly. Just the way I like it. 😊
1
My kind of man!!!
1
A very beautiful and livable house! I have to say that being affected by an inoperable brain tumor can be a very painful and difficult experience both for the patient and their families to go through, as the tumor literally destroys the personality and soul until there is nothing left. Enough said. Thank you again for your excellent work 👏

I wonder what happened to Fulton Cutting's country estate? Thanks for your most interesting and educational video!

With all due respect, and at the risk of being shot at, I have learned that things don't last forever, and also people eventually end up dying for a host of reasons. Heaven is the only place that will last forever, quite frankly. However I do find these videos very interesting and educational. Thank you 😊

Except that he would have been too busy to pay me any attention!!
