I see the problem, your corvette has an automatic transmission.

Ray, just a small thing, but it makes a difference, put the iron under the wires, and flow the solder into the heated wire.

There used to be a time when pickup owners were the few that understood how things work...you know mechanically inclined. It seems now that the trucks are used to treat microphallus.
160
I predict they are going to have Ray replace all service components, get the truck detailed, defog the headlight covers, install a bed liner, and just generally treat the truck well.
50
The cylinder head guy needs to have a chat with the timing chain guy.
32
That is one angry squirrel.
29
@irahays3869 My wife has never owned an automatic.
26
that minivan sounds like cicadas.
24
6:45 Ray is now working out of Tampa's hottest night club.
23
Good suggestion, Ray has a very fancy snap-on thermal cam that does not get enough channel time.
19
One thing I think worth pointing out, that trailing arm bracket that was mangled/ ripped from the mounting bolts...that really says a lot about the strength of bolts. The shear forces on that bracket were huge, and the bolt came out just fine...I was expecting that to be a tough extraction.
16
Ray, have you thought of doing a video explaining what knock and other basic engine sounds and problems are? Add well as the detriments of using cheap gas? With so many followers this seems like a good teaching moment. O and please tell people not to dangle for five pounds of keys in their ignition.
15
33:37 is that grease coming out of a torn dust boot?
15
Post purchase 3rd party inspection...very logical.
14
That's why everything looks funny in that engine bay...there are two cylinders missing.
14
Ray has done a relly good job of learning how to avoid filming license plates while simultaneously avoiding the name of his shop without cutting the camera. A skill that I am sure is....
14
This is what made the original wheeler dealers great...the current version is similar to that annoying scotty kilmer guy.
12
If the owner of this car had enough knowledge to top off brake fluid, they would have had enough knowledge to get the front brakes done at the appropriate time.
12
Did you make your assistant clean up all the spark fluid you spilled?
11
I mean that really seemed like a job for JB weld.
11
door of death is installed backwards. it opens the wrong way, easy to pop hinges and get inside....
11
11:00 props to the audio editor, putting in real time sound over 2x speed footage.
11
@ranger178 do you think those chargers survived those jumps?
10
I swear I heard "snake oil" preceded by it being poured into the engine.
10
This is going to get interesting. Ray has started doing viewers cars, people are putting the name of the shop in the comments...either the owner realizes the gold mine, or this blows up in a bad way.
10
Ray, all of those black spots on your ceiling insulation are most likely mold...especially around the leak.
9
Yeah, as others have said, those lock rings are under compression, not tension...unless you are flying and come to a sudden stop, but at that point you have other things to worry about.
8
not a Florida car...or a florida car that lives ON the beach.
7
Cerberus is the car god, three heads, so things come in threes. That's why body shops and junkyards have beware of dog signs.
7
That's crazy, I have driven gm cars for 30 years, no issues... My wife owned a Honda that had required constant repair. We sold it for sonic, 100k miles later, normal maintenance only.
7
HMMM...i wonder if the radiator has some sort of valve to easily drain the coolant before you start taking hoses off?
7
please give the owner a lesson on RADAR detector placement.
6
6:25 sounds like the dentist's office.
6
22:59 someone did not disconnect the battery.....
6
no link above.
6
I don't like jeeps, I normally hit the like, but this comment will get you engagement without me helping to fix that thing.
6
un-doing plastic press clips gives me anxiety.
6
remove oil via dipstick tube. They don't change the crush washers either.
6
I was sure the Hyundai was the filter eater...I noticed inside the Nissan airbox some seeds and other mouse foods...was that filter compromised by mice?
6
I have pulled cotter pins out of my tires....I now know how they got there.
5
Teaching moment, you do not need to start a car to see the mileage!
5
Ray is always doing the pledge of allegiance in his mind.
5
@RainmanRaysRepairs O Ray...you really think people checked their tires before TPMS??? I don't think the Ford Explorers had TPMS. I am going to wager that most of the TPMS lights come on right after the first cold snap.
5
Did I miss the master cylinder diagnosis??? You did not bleed rears????
5
There is a difference between the blue and red loctite...use red when you hate the next guy.
5
I kinda agree, but the fact that felt bad while driving would be enough for most
5
Do you have an electron drain pan? From what I have heard no one will take used electrons.
5
Hey Ray, in your edit, the 2nd time playing the music, the level was way to low...first time was fine.
5
I would really like a standardized safety clip for the electrical connectors...not only are they different between manufactures, but under the same hood you have like 3 different safeties. When you are impatient they tend to get broken....this comment has almost nothing to do with the video.
5
What's with the top/bottom and random blur? I don't think it's a Florida thing.
