With the number of drones launched at targets so close to the border, russia has to know with almost complete certainty that some will hit Romania - a NATO nation. russia must see such an incident as an unacceptable risk. russia only understands force and fear - so the only way to stop russia from doing such things is for them to fear the consequences.   35. Let's hope Romania requests - and NATO agrees to - article 5. Regardless of russia's main goal with this drone, they have to know there is a reasonable possiblity of hitting Romania with such attacks, and thus should be held fully responsible, as if hitting Romania was the primary goal. If Ukraine says they prefer F-16s over an equivalent value in 155mm shells, then just provide the F-16s.
