The US (and the rest of NATO) should treat the demolition of the dam in the region of Nova Kakhovka by Russia - and the potential nuclear catastrophe concerning the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (the ZNPP) - as Russia using weapons of mass destruction against the civilian population of Ukraine. Russia is a terrorist state. We already warned Russia about the consequences of the use of a weapon of mass destruction against Ukraine - and they did it anyway. In the case of the ZNPP, they are likely to do it again - unless we act soon to stop them. Indeed, use of these WMDs constitute deliberate harm (an attack) against many outside Ukraine, including those in NATO nations -- thus justifying NATO Article Five. NATO should seize ZNPP in a lightning airborne strike and defend it with airborne and ground assets until it can be rendered safe and returned to Ukraine. I request that everyone write their elected representatives to express support for direct action by NATO, and also increased military aid to Ukraine, and increased sanctions against Russia, and those that aid Russia to evade sanctions. Russia is a terrorist state - this is proven by the Russians deliberately using a WMD against the Ukrainian civilians.
