Well, he for sure talked a lot about what he is like. Didn't show much though.
1
Karine Jean-Pierre deserves the highest pay in US, being the sh1t shield for Biden. I really, really, really don't want her job.
1
Haha, fat jokes.
1
I didn't know JB Smoove could speak so gently.
1
The region was not "just land" in 1947, but was populated by almost a million, 55% Jews. Jews had been nation-building there since the 1917 Balfour declaration.
1
Wait, is he joking or serious?
1
The recent Israel-Palestine conflict gives me hope... ...in that the western world fails to act in complete unison. Maybe the west isn't completely controlled by a handful of people after all, or at least they're not all in agreement.
1
EU is back to crusades: full of themselves and blinded by belief in "the good cause".
1
I think it's pretty obvious that government is now promoting conspiracy theories about aliens, for one reason or another.
1
Any argument against fiat money or for returning to the gold standard (or anything of the kind) should begin with a discussion about how to get an economy out recession.
1
"Scientists don't really debate." Maybe that's why medical science is losing credibility. It's become preoccupied with pushing commercial interests through peer review, which does not require debate.
1
I don't know about this guy. He seems a bit too interested in controlling the narrative about politics and himself. He seems a bit too involved in the twitter circus.
1
Let me guess: the prices will hurt the competitors of her donors.
1
The reason I still associate myself with the left is because I believe that more freedom can be created through the means of a state. The state can be used to guarantee a foundation of autonomy and opportunity for the individual. The state can be used to design the rules of the market such as to maximize its benefits while minimizing its harms.
1
Reminds on awful lot about "A Lannister always pays his debts." with the same dark undertone. As the Lannisters looted the Tyrells to repay its debts, so will USA find a way.
1
@spencergsmith I'd say social justice is a subset of justice.
1
AOC can talk the talk AND talk the talk.
1
The argument for human rights is that if we fight to uphold these, as an international community, it seems to facilitate the peaceful coexistence of 11.2 billion people on this planet. This is true or false regardless of whether there is a creator or not.
1
All this warm talk about academic courage, integrity, freedom, and the quest for truth... and what was the most controversial truth she offered?
1
Misinformation in broad daylight.
1
Finally a guest that isn't just circle jerking with Dave.
1
Stop conflating "conspiracy" and " conspiracy theory".
1
@Ron Sedlak The paradox I try to highlight is that, while openness and connectedness leads to exposure of individuals to a greater diversity of cultures (as you experience), it also effectively reduces cultural diversity in the world as a whole. Cultures diverge in separation and converge in contact. We are taught to be accepting of other cultures while cultures are merging, but the merging in itself sets the world on trajectory towards a narrow monoculture. I am more worried about the latter.
1
What is your solution to "the IQ problem"?
1
America won. Globalists lost.
1
@VerdictView Did she say that you should feel guilty?
1
Adolf Hitler believed in strong hierarchies, which contradicts the socialism fundamentally. He wrote in Mein Kampf that he exploited the appeal of socialism to rise to power. Watch the video below for details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUFvG4RpwJI
1
State control is common, but not inherent to the left. It is about how the state is employed. If the state is employed to promote or maintain inequalities and injustices, this is contrary to the fundamental goals of the left. There are marxists and socialists who are also libertarian etc.
1
Not really. Anyway how is that relevant as my point was that state control does not make Hitler's NS left-wing. Are you listening at all? Jesus christ I'm talking to a wall am I.
1
@owenbenjaminshapiro6285 Define socialism, then define Capitalism, then argue why Canada does not display characteristics of both.
1
So very edgy of her to join in on the circle jerk.
1
@leftifornian2066 Semantically correct I guess.
1
Why did you shut down beaches? "There wasn't much information at the time." So you shut down beaches because of lack of information? "Well there was some information." What an absolute clown. He's hiding behind his fake smile while pulling words out of his ass.
1
Dave Rubin has fallen into a vicious cycle of focusing more and more on the objectionable reactions and opinions of others rather than actual events. It's getting dull.
1
These questions are clearly designed to mislead. The interviewer asks whether Mark took very specific actions "fire people" and "compensate girls" then concludes that since he did not, it means he took "no action", which is a fallacious argument. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that this is yet another campaign designed to pressure social media companies into allowing government to use their platform for strategic censor.
1
I don't believe this. There's no way democrats would have missed the opportunity to put the first gay black president in office.
1
Skoda The typical narrative is that the end of the gold standard was closely tied to the spread of democracy, because economic depression could no longer be countered by simply dumping the cost of labor. There was a need for new means to stabilize the economy, hence the adoption of more flexible currencies.
1
Nope, still subscribed and this video was in the feed.
1
Maybe it would be appropriate to elaborate on how a transfer onto a bitcoin based world economy would influence its stability. Inflation is meant to encourage people to invest their money instead of hoarding it. There's a risk that Bitcoin, because of increasing demand and it's finite pool, would be subject to deflation. What would be the mechanism to deal with the economic crisis that would follow?
1
That's one sound argument. I'm sure you convinced everyone.
1
Are you familiar with the concept of "inference"?
1
@StrategicWealthLLC In my opinion, rights are no more than a set of principles which were invented by men who sought for a more preferred way to organize society. The rest is just about the rhetoric they used in order to effectively establish their principles. There are certainly benefits to elevating "rights" to something that is independent of and more fundamental than governments, yes, but this does not make them so.
1
Colonial violence is sitting comfortably in our seats? Oh I must have been mistaken, because I thought it referred to the enslavement of people on foreign soil to extract their natural resources for your own profit.
1
Was America ever safe?
1
Well kudos to you for listening to someone you didn't think you'd like. More of that!
1
Is Matt arguing that a private hospital, if left to decide for itself, would choose to save more lives instead of over-prioritizing Covid-19 patients? I beg to differ. If left to themselves, hospitals would surely allocate resources more effectively in regard to making profit, but unfortunately profit is not at all proportional to the number live and healthy patients. In most cases it is more profitable for a hospital to specialize in catering to the needs of a small wealthy elite.
1
Tolerance to diversity is just the social lube globalists apply while they mix and distill peoples and cultures into one. Diversity thrives from separation. Connectivity and openness creates uniformity.
1
Dave is catching the bait. Stop falling victim to divide and conquer.
1
Honestly I don't care. They could have an orgy on stage defacating on the floor and mopping it up with their tonges, I don't care. Their spectacle is only as potent as the attention we give it. Just let them do whatever.
1
They still don't get it. They think they just had a poor strategy. They think they weren't employing enough tech. No, the problem is that you have nothing to offer.
