  1.  @timowagner1329  you do know that every atom has electrons? Electricity is electrons. Atoms shed electrons and electrons stick on atoms. As a charge builds up like polarities repel. Let's say you start building up a charge on your arm. Eventually those electrons are going to just migrate onto your "insulated" glove. It'll be too crowded on your arm for all of them. So they'll repel each other and move about that way. It is weird stuff.

  8. By the end of the video Steve pretty much builds a case where a wireless wrist strap could work. But if what he said was true then how come there's lightning during thunderstorms? Air is pretty moist then. Lightning is a really large electrostatic discharge. Your PC gets hit by that and it's kaput. Wrist strap or no wrist strap.

  14. What they did was far easier than picking up rental gear and dropping it off again. Or even waiting around for it to be delivered and picked up. If you want it really easy you can just hire millwrights to come in and take care of everything for you. Some sweat equity can pay dividends though.

  17. The trouble with your plan is the center section of the pallet still would have been wedged under the cabinet. The casters were the same height as the pallet was. So they had to do it how they did it. They had to elevate the cabinet without the pallet jack under the pallet. They did that by blocking up the casters and taking the pallet jack out. And it worked

Those that are should know they've gotten in late too. In any event the data remains relevant even when it is out of date. Sometimes we want to know what things used to cost.

  45.  @bliviont  Is CO2 that big of a problem? CO is because it binds with your blood. CO2 doesn't really do that though. I think CO2 levels have to rise about 200% for it to become a breathing issue? Which isn't as much as it seems. That is due to CO2 atmosphere levels being so low to begin with. Something like 0.02% (perhaps due to ACC it is 0.025% now?) You get up to 2 or 3% of CO2 and it's bad. This highlights where percentages and statistics can be somewhat misleading.
