Ford and other American manufactures use cheap plastics inside.
4
It used to be joked that FIAT stood for Fix It Again Tony because FIAT's kept breaking down
3
The Chevy's built back then were better built then the new ones as GM's quality is fallen. That is why the old ones last longer then the newer one. The Suburban was popular back then
3
The problem with the Neon is that it was poorly/cheaply built. As you know, Chrysler's quality is poor and they are not reliable cars. Also, it is not very safe as it did poorly in the IIHS crash test
3
The Suburban is longer than the Caravan. This one looks like new
3
While this does have allot plastic, it doesn't look as cheap as the plastic Chrysler used in its 1996 Dodge Caravan
3
Stellantis has been cancelling many Chrysler and Dodge models, so we don't know what the future will be for these 2 brands
2
A problem at Ford is that their quality has fallen and so they had to issue allot of recalls as they made their models to cheaply to save money
2
The problem with putting the climate controls in the infotainment system is that if it breaks, you can't control the A/C and Heat
2
On the Toyota Corolla, they only offer heated seats on the full leather seats and don't they offer dual zone air like this Civic
2
that is stupid that the tail lights come on when you lock the door. People might think someone is backing out of the parking spot
2
The ES300 was Lexus's version of the Toyota Camry. Toyota had the Camry Solaros coupe
1
I notice in the Ford commercials in the past month, they have been only advertising their trucks & suvs, no metion of their cars & sedans since they are phasing them out
1
Back up camera is required by law in USA. Cars in Mexico don't have all the safety features that the USA cars have. Also, the build quality in Mexico is cheaper
1
Just like Chrysler had used cheap plastics back then
1
During the Daimler-Chrysler era, Chrysler was being cheap with many cost-cutting measures such as no cover on the back of the trunk lid
1
After 36 years, they are dropping the Dodge Caravan
1
This car is on the list of 15 new cars to avoid: https://www3.forbes.com/business/15-new-cars-to-avoid/12/
1
Back in the early 2000s to 2010s, only the bigger and luxury sedans had push to start. It didn't show up on smaller cars until the mid 2010s. For example the Toyota Corolla didn't offer it until the 2014 model
1
GM's quality has fallen since 2009 bankruptcy. They are making cars more cheaply which doesn't last very long and are not as good as the ones in the late '90s and early 2000s.
1
Toyota's used to be boring, but new redesigned are getting more aggressive
1
THe 4 door version of the Dodge/Plymouth Colt that Mitsubishi made for Chrysler
1
Lexus were too well built and are the most reliable luxury brand
1
Unless it is required by law, some safety & tech features are offered as optional especially on cheaper GM cars. They won't make them standard equipment which they should
1
The driver's door window reminds of the Suburu
1
Toyota discontinued the Camry wagon in 1997 and the Honda discontinued the Accord wagon the following year
1
Wow, that key is very thing. Most cars are fatter
1
After Chrysler came out with its minivan in 1984, GM and Ford rushed to make a minivan. They have pointed noses.
1
Only on the Entunes Premium has the maintenance feature. Basic & Plus do not
1
Ford has weird designs. Back in the late 1990s the Ford Taurus lost to the Toyota Camry due to weird oval design that nobody liked. No need for those gaps. The infotainment system is too far for the driver to reach.
1
USB-C is mainly on Android phones and Toyota doesn't like Android. They resisted Android Auto until 2019 and slowly rolling it out. Toyota seems to feature Apple support more than Android
1
As for Mistubishi, they make cheap cars. They are probably the cheapest Japanese automaker
1
Looks bigger than the Toyota Avalon
1
The Chevy Malibu is still made today
1
Mitsubishi's aren't good cars. They could be the worst Japanese automaker. Wow, the car is cheaper than the Toyota Yaris. I see the cheap hubcaps and cheap looking plastics inside and outdated audio system. Others have little screen for the infotainment system. Toyota engineers have figured how to make the engine quieter. The other automakes have integreted the key lock into door handle unlike this car.
1
GM had too many brands and so when they went bankrupt in 2009, they shut down Saturn, Pontiac, and Hummer. They also sold Saab to Dutch automaker, Spyker. These days it doesn't make sense for an automaker to have 8 brands
1
Unlike Honda and few others, Toyota doesn't like to use digital gauges.
1
It may have helped GM go bankrupt in 2009
1
Toyota had discontinued the Yaris in USA as smaller cars aren't popular here
1
A weird thing about the PT Cruiser is that the window buttons are not on the door, but in the center stack
1
Back then was Nissan was reliable like Honda & Toyota
1
The Japanese have always been better quality and more reliable then the American brands (GM, Chrysler)
1
Notice the paint is fading from the roof
1
After Honda launched Acura, Toyota launched Lexus. Lexus is probably the most reliable luxury car. Toyota made a Lexus version of the Camry sedan
1
The Honda Civic is a compact car, but it looks like a midsize car
1
Smaller cars like coupe are no longer popular today. Honda also discontinued the Fit in USA
1
It still has a plastic cover on the engine whereas the new 2020 Corolla does not
1
It even has a pocket on the back of the driver's seat. For some reason, Toyota don't pockets on the back of driver's seat anymore, only on the passenger seat
1
Many cars in the USA only have red lights in the back, no orange lights
1
Buick makes a minivan in China, but not in USA. Since GM has killed its car brands (Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Saab and Saturn) where does that leave Buick? Buick and Oldsmobile were the old people's car
