@Smoke6six4 Years, he has not been in his sons life for years. He wanted to completely absolve himself of any connection to his son - or he wouldn't have said it at all. It was his intention to make it clear he was in no way responsible. Are you looking to suggest the officer was a strong male influence in the formative years of his life? Are you sure that is the point you want to make?
