  41. atlas42185 My mistake. What I wrote went over your head. With the New Deal, Roosevelt raised the taxes of the rich to 91%! Today no one pays more than 35%. What did Roosevelt do with all that money from the Rockefellers, Duponts, JP Morgan and their ilk. Roosevelt created Social Security, Unemployment benefits and Works Progress Administration WPA and the New Deal. The reasoning was if the private economy cannot create jobs for the unemployed, we will tax you and use it for providing work to the masses. Tax cuts do the opposite.

Its media will demonize you, and capitalism's class allies will boycott you, and all you have left is the working class and the poor working class. One must rely on history in these matters. The most successful example is Cuba. You first disarm your enemies and you reward your allies. This is what is happening in Venezuela and Ecuador and Bolivia.

In the US, the government wants to have US jobs returned from China back to the US. There is a rush to further advance robotics. So, now millions of low wage jobs in China will be lost to US robots. This is the logic of savage capitalism, aka, neo liberalism, aka, Anglo Saxon Capitalism. The US military is spending one billion dollars to map out the human brain. The next stage of robotics in the military will be "robotic soldiers". Marx and Lenin were right about capitalism, and grossly underestimated it.
