In the small community I was living in the church protected a teacher for over 20 years, and this was over a decade ago before you could file a lawsuit. I guess the story goes that children, especially boys would go to the Bishop and tell them what was happening at school and the Bishop just ignored them. It wasn't until most these children had become adults and came back to the community demanding justice did the law finally catch up to the teacher. The teacher did a few years and was released.

  23. Don't get me wrong, but teachers are there to educate, and basically babysit, and that's it. I think when you get older and much wiser, you will understand and appreciate what teachers actually go through, for instance you seem to be wanting more respect from them, well they have to walk a thin line, because it could look like they are favoring others more than the rest of the class, which can hurt the students also, by the rest of the class viewing them as the teachers pet.
