  8.  @davidscritchfieldds  Exactly. Dogs are attention whores who will automatically place their owner at the center of their universe, no matter who. Even if they mistreat the dog, the dog will stay blindly devoted, it's actually kinda pathetic, lol. But cats? They don't really need you. They can catch their own food, can survive outdoors in most weather conditions, and they clean themselves. They choose to love you; choose to bond with you for life. And they won't bond with everyone, so the person they choose is very, very special. Kitty love is very deep and pure, and extremely loyal. Dogs aren't loyal. They'll throw themselves at literally anyone and will switch alliances in a heartbeat if someone else gives them food or a tummy rub. All of the kitties I've ever owned throughout my life were just the sweetest, gentlest, biggest snugglebugs so. 💜 They're so unfairly treated, it truly breaks my heart. Cats are such amazing creatures. They deserve to be just as worshipped in our society as dogs are! Cats rule and dogs drool! 😂

  11. I was just thinking that. His one good eye has such a soulful look, you can see the years of pain within it, yet also the unyielding kindness he always eschewed. Truly a remarkable human being. I only wish he could have known how much his words and his story have touched so many people in our day and age, in a time when compassion is far more prevalent.

And as long as you refuse to accept objective reality and try to silence anybody who even mentions the disorder in a realistic light instead of sugarcoating things to spare your fragile personality, then nothing will change. There's only a "stigma" because you get all offended and refuse to have an open and honest discussion about it. Like it or not, the symptoms of BPD can be incredibly toxic if unchecked and untreated. You sound like you're not trying to work on that, you're just trying to excuse it and even pretend that you don't have to accept any responsibility for your actions because of it. Why should people think you're not going to be abusive when you won't even acknowledge the truth that things like extreme mood swings, emotional outbursts, and an irrational fear of and aversion to rejection aren't potentially toxic behaviors?
